With today's CAS hearings on Floyd Landis, I introduce a poll (partly because I want to see how people vote, and partly to see CrueTrue's reaction ) on the question - Do you think, after all this Landis is guilty.
I vote not sure, there is a lot of evidence against him, but the lab made so many mistakes that I just don't know. |

Yeah, unfortunely he will go Bruce Lee, because if he went Chuck Norris, I could go Bruce Lee on him |

Bruce Lee is so good, he would be able to beat Chuck Norris, even though Chuck Norris is the Messiah (source: The Ultimate Showdown ) |

See? It's so obvious that Landis was doped that we even drift away from the thread's subject

Not as bad a mistake as Landis made when he decided to take extra testosterone

Yeah, but correct me if I am wrong, even if he doped, if the lab makes mistakes they can't suspend him, is that correct? |

Oh snap... Oh no you didn't...
Seriously now, you are totally right but I sort of understand why he did it... The biggest and only chance of winning the Tour was right there in front of him but when it started to slip away he felt the urge to do anything in is power to win it... Bad choice but understandable... Still guilty as hell though...

As I wrote in another thread: I think he's guilty, but it's interesting that in "that" famous IM conversation between Andreu and Vaughters (done far before Landis tested positive), Vaughters seems to throw a few "tips" that Landis doesn't seem to like the doping culture inside the Postal team and is actually collecting evidence against Armstrong
(which would go very well along with the word going around that Armstrong is only supporting Landis' case because otherwise Landis will spill the goods on him)
The preceding post is ISSO 9001 certified

To be honest, having seen the data i have on Armstrong, and considering he was one of the most tested guys in the peloton (who never tested positive) i don't think that he did dope. However, to test Landis one day and find normal levels, and to test him the next and find extraordinary levels just doesn't click. I don't care if someone said he doesnt seem like the doping type, the only way to get rid of dopers is to test, and ban. No arguments against it. He doped, i understand why, but he is a silly american after all...

For Armstrong, I believe the paper that argues that the removal of his testicle changed his hormones to lower his lactate threshold |

lowering his lactate threshold would mean he couldn't produce a large quantity of lactic acid, and would therefore be a shit rider. Im sure you mean raise his lactate threshold... in which case saying that removing a testicle (ie lowering testosterone) would result in a higher lactate threshold would therefore imply that female cyclists with less testosterone than that of male cyclists would be able to withstand a higher level of lactate. Which they can't as proven in many sports science related studies. B)

Sorry, raise it, and its a hormonal difference, so it would not deal with women riders at all, women have different hormones from men. |

To me, believing that riders such as Landis and Armstrong are / were clean is just as stupid as believing in gods. Therefore, I can't even discuss things like that. I get angry when I see that people still people in such things. |

So, CrueTrue, do you think their are any clean riders in the Pro peloton? |
