For being an entertaining highlight in a bleak decade of danish riders occasionally winning races.

Mikhail Ignatiev - due to his suicidal attacking in many races, and his cool smooth pedalling style

Of all time? Jacky Durand. Always got in insane breaks that other riders actually made fun of him because of it. However, some times they worked. By the end of his career, most riders wish they had his palmarés.
One Ronde van Vlaanderen, a Paris-Tours, stages of the Tour, Dauphiné, Midi Libre, etc.

I'm a big George Hincappie fan (he lives in the area I live in).
I also like Chris Horner a lot. He's an entertaining interview. |

He asked favorite of all time, that's why I said Durand. If it was currently, I'd have to write in a list of about 15 riders, which of course wouldn't be very much in the spirit of the thread

I'm very fond of Lance Armstrong because he showed what a really brave man can achieve on a bike without dope, whereas his opponents were big dopeheads.
Unfortunately as for every single hero, there have been some people trying to dirt his reputation.
Lance was the man, definitely. |

It's not fair, the cancer treatments gave him an unfair advantage: He only has one testicle so he's aerodynamic
