So it starts this Sunday, and as usual the contenders are a complete mistery as form in March is anybody's guess.
The course is also the hardest I've ever seen at Paris-Nice, with the Croix de Chaubouret and unbelievably, a stage finish at the Mont Ventoux.
Thoughts?

Im hoping Millar can put in a decent showing. I beleive its one of his biggest (if not his main) target of the year, and California showed that he does have form - albeit the fact that Paris-Nice will encounter a much tougher terrain.

I hope the whole slipstream team can show there skills. We didn't see the team that well in the California especially with the biggest ? sick, Tom Danielson.

Is this the other way up Vontoux?
and I think Slipstream showed well at TOC, Millar, CVV, Peterson, and Dave Z did very well

I haven't seen the team list, and because of the UCI Vs. ASO thing i'm not sure who is riding. Because of that, I'm not making any predictions. |

Me too. I hope that Millar does well, but the terrain looks too much for him. |

What i dont understand is those 8 teams at AIGCP who cant choose between yes or no..
If they cant decide then who should..realy weak act. |

They don't want to take sides so that nobody will think "those teams are against us". The problem is that most of the time when you don't take a side to prevent any side hating you, usually both sides will accuse you of being on the opposite side.

No idea. at this time of the season it's extremely hard to predict. the fact that this prologue has a strange profile makes it even harder.
not to mention that the Paris-Nice prologue is always in cold temperatures, which means it's not so much about quality, but about who has the best warmup.

Paris-Nice is one of the several events that cycling.tv only "serves" if you're located in that gigantic cycling market known as the United States of America
hence me posting the link
