Thought I make this thread here for those that already got the game, where you can discuss the game itself to avoid those kind of questions/discussions in other threads. |

Does having 250h of playing time count as ''First impression''?

How do the stats look compared to previous PCMs? Particularly for PCT/CT squads.

Compared to the previous PCMs, good.
Matt(Matt17br) & I put quite some suggestions in for the stats and they implemented most. They will not be perfect, but we don't want Cyanide to have stats as main focus do we?
At least they should be decent.

Is AI better than in previous editions? Are mountain stages more realistic?

@Naxela Yes.
For instance, the whole U23 system changed. Teams can now have a development team.
What I like in particular is that, as a CT team, you can ride U23 races, but of course only let riders under 23 participate.
Also the progression system completely changed, trainers have a specific approach https://prntscr.co...
Planning is made easier, now you can copy over fitness schedules, for instance(to be fair that was in the first patch).
Plus a lot of optimalisations, I imagine.
@Anderis
I believe a lot of adjustments have been made to the AI as well, yes. Difficult to give you an indication how realistic they are, though.

I would say they made a major improvement, by making it possible to sprint to the mountainsprints just like the normal sprint, and to the finishline. |

dankjewel I don't know why i asked in the first place, only makes me even more excited about the game. Seems like they made more improvements than the last two years at least.
Especially looking forward to the u23 races, hopefully u23 world championships is playable as well, that would be awesome...

Development teams are pretty much the only reason I decided to buy the game, not be a pro. Hope they work out the way I want them to. Could really build a bond with regens that way, something which I couldn't in older games, meaning careers stopped after 3/4 years... Never stopped in FM, guess it could be the same now.

Interesting, could you elaborate a little? What's the difference between those methods? |

I am not 100% sure myself yet, but what I do know is that riders have preferences, some rider develops better with one method, and the other prefers some other method. They'll tell you(after a while) if a method doesn't work well for them.

Are breakaways at least possible in this game? My last game is 2013 and the AI ALWAYS chases down a breakaway with your rider even if they are way out of contention. |

that's strange, I don't remember PCM 2013 but I can guarantee you that in PCM 2014 if you have like half an hour they'll let you go. However, if your stats are very high (like 80+ MO), it might depend. |

I didn't get 2014 so I hope you're right. Only decided to get 2015 since it seems like they have made some serious changes not just small things. Thanks. |

Ground-breaking
Found that amusing. I will for sure have everyone using ground breaking techniques. |

Just started be a pro and played my first race ! 38th position.
So far I have not found any major bugs which is a little surprising.
A few negative comments though. On be a pro it locks your vision in 3d race to your own group only (which is fine) but then it still does the unskippable "slow-mo" when the winner crosses the line. So you can be 5kms to the end and you have to go really slowly for 30 secs despite you having nothing specail to see.
I don't know if it's my resolution but a couple of graphics/icons are slightly cut off. In the achievements section, it says "eason Ranking", forgot the S bois ? In the 3d loading screens the very top of the image is slightly cuy off, no big deal but it's not very polished right now.
I also don't like on the training screen you can only see your fitness/freshness/tiredness level for the next 4 weeks only. I want to see later on in the season too.
My AI team on the breifing page said I should be a helper on the first race but since I don't trust my team I just rode my own race and surprise surprise finished ahead of everyone else (from my team).
Though I wasn't expecting much I should point out there is very little interaction between you and your team or just general things you can do in the "office" area other then adjust your fitness. They should work on this for next year.
Well other than that, it's still PCM. So .... yeah next onto the stage lol ! |
