Hello and welcome to My Cycling Pro, a story which will follow your riders on their journey to be the best.
Introduction
In MCP you create a fantasy rider who will ride for team Mapei-Bianchi in 2015. Again we're starting in PT (subject to change) but we wanted to bring together a group of young talents from around the globe to become the greatest team, what we once were.
So what do I do?
After you sign-up you can be as in-depth or as hands-off as you wish. I'm yet to decide if activity e.g. commenting on the thread, blog posts etc. will increase your progression but most likely not as we are all busy people.
You can pick schedule/goals of you wish and decide where your upgrade points go. Upgrade points are earnt by specific actions during races, like attacking, an awesome domestique performance or getting good stage placings. No solid points system is yet in place but the magnitude of the result or actions and the startlist/race level will determine what you get. Older riders have better stats, younger riders progress faster.
Here is the sign-up system. As many of you will immediately see this is 100% modified from the EPIC formula, thanks Oldfart.
18 year olds have 125 points to spend on stats. Stats start at 55, you can only have 2 stats under 60. Be aware as I'm 3D racing fighter may have a small influence on who I choose to attack with.
To upgrade a stat from anything up to 69>70 it costs a single point. Then any stat up to 74>75 costs 2 points. Then Anything up to 76>77 costs 4 points. You can't go over 77 unless you are 24, where you can go up to 80. Max age is 26. Add 15 points for every year older, until 23 where you start adding ten. For example 23 y/olds have 200 points to spend and 26 year olds will have 230 points to spend.
The age limit is 26 and we can only have 1 26 y/o, 1 25, 2 24, 3 23, 4 22 and unlimited younger riders in our team so we aren't phenomenal OP at the start.
To make sure you understand and have read the rules please put your country's flag instead of name in the nationality slot.

Should be exactly 210 points.
If not, forgive me, it's late okay
I even developed a quick excel sheet for this
(If it's wrong, in my defense, your ''up to'' part when explaning stat upgrades was quite confusing.
Also mention when I have spare points
Spoiler
Easier way to check if I did it right:

Ok trying to calculate myself it's confusing, so let's just use EPIC system for 1/2/4 points
EDIT: Which would give you ten extra points

Well if I did it right there are no problems
Just show a bit clearer from what point the cost is 2 points and 4 points
(What I did in my spoiler was:
Stat - base points used - x2 points used - x4 points used )
Wouldn't say no to 10 extra points, will take a look tomorrow.

Only two stats under 60 as stated in the instructions besides, you'll be the world's worst rider almost with those stats
EDIT: I can tell you didn't read the rules a different way as well

I also made it with the old system. Do I have a few points more because of the system change?

Also can't be approved because of the way he wrote his nationality
Get some reasonable stats, Paul
Max of 2 stats under 60 is a good idea, I didn't even see that

Get my young one in now
Name: Reagan Seperawski
Nationality:
Age: 18
Height/Weight (optional): 168/58

Bio: Growing up either in the magnificent rolling plains of Otago or else in the mountains of Poland, young Reagan was a magnificent climber on his bike from an early age. He always wanted to attack no matter the consequences, resulting in many collapses in his early racing years. He'll be loyal to a team leader so long as he gets his chance to... attack.

@Scatmaster: 9 extra points to spent, I can do it for you if you don't want to do it yourself. Or just tell me to leave it

Paul you now have 19 extra points to spend. but even after that I won't accept it on accounts you obviously didn't read all the rules

Name: Hayden Orrantia
Nationality:
Age: 21
Height/Weight (optional): N/A
Personality (optional): Outgoing, Cocky
Rider Style (Optional): Over-Aggressive Pure Sprinter
Bio: "Get outta his way." Orrantia is a one-man show and has always looked up to Cavendish as his idol. He's fast, but extremely careless. He likes the rush of jumping sprint trains and moving between them rather then having his teammates lead him out. If something happens to go wrong it's surely not his fault. He wants all the glory, but can't handle the criticism.

Interesting character, he's currently got the stats of a 20 y/o I believe, he can be upgraded by a further 15 points. Very well-balanced in terms of back-up stats, one of my favourites so far Accepted but you can still use those points
