Spoiler I think it's time for me to come back to story writing, after Mark Velpois and Anthony Louveille, I will present you a new rider named Maxime Dupuis.
I will use the same bases as the two previous stories but I will try to implement new thing concerning the background of the rider.
Database: fcd_v1.34 with minor edits.
Difficulty: Hard.
Maxime Dupuis: 19yo, 186cm and 74kg
Hello, my name is Maxime Dupuis; I was born on the 7th of April in 1993, in Templeuve. My mom raised me and my younger brother alone as my father left us when I was 4. My Grand Father who is a big fan of cyclism offered me my first bike when I was 7. I quickly enjoyed it and every time I had the occasion, I was on my bike. I joined a cycling school and I took part in some races around my village.
Templeuve is a town not far from Lille and “The Moulin de Vertin” is one of the famous Paris-Roubaix sectors. When I was young I used to ride these cobblestones each week end with my training group and I was always easy on them, like I was flying. The fact that Paris-Roubaix was in my backyard helped a lot in the mystification of this race in my mind. And since the day I saw Tom Boonen arriving alone on the Velodrome I decided that one day it would me that will do that.
Last year I was riding the DN1 in the CC Nogent sur Oise, and my results were quite great. I won several races in a sprint and I was not afraid to attack on the cobblestones if the race had some. This led me to my first professional contract at the age of 19 with a team I will announce soon.

It was in late June 2012 when I had my first contact with a professional team, I had just won a race in the north of France when Cofidis offered me a Trainee spot in their squad, I felt honored by their offer and I accepted it really quickly. And there started my adventure in the professional peloton. I did not end any of the races I took part as I was always asphyxiated at the start by the fast rhythm imposed. This was a good first impression but it was too early for me to enter the big divisions.
In November 2012 I signed a one-year deal with a new team supposed to be the reserve of the famous team Omega Pharma - QuickStep. I will indeed be part of the Etixx - iNHed CT squad in 2013 alongside two other french riders who are Julian Alaphilippe and Florian Senechal.

Hello everyone, it is time for me to reveal my program for the 2013 season, I will start in early march in the Grand Prix de la Ville de Lillers. My first big objective will come later in April with Le Tour de Bretagne Cycliste and I will try to do well in the French Championships. The season will be over in September and I really hope I will be selected for the U23 World Championships even though the profil don't suit me very well.
Next week the team will be in Sicily for our first training camp, then we will join Omega Pharma - QuickStep in Majorca before starting the season.

Team Training Camp
Hi everyone, I just came back from an insane training camp in Majorca with the OPQS boys, but first let me give a quick summary of what we did in Sicily.
The training camp lasted 1 week and thanks god sun was shining. The first day we did not take the bikes out as it was more an administrative day with many paper to sign, it was also the first contact with our team mate.
On the second and third day we did some easy riding to get in shape and the last 4 days was about specific training to get our automatism in position before the start of the season.
It appears that I was one of the fastest guy of the group and the team decided to give me a sprinting role in some races alongside Louis Verhelst and Daniel Hoelgaard.
After Sicily, we were given a free week before heading to OPQS camp base in Majorca to meet our "colleagues from Belgium. I had the chance to chat with my favorite rider which is Tom Boonen, the guy is really friendly and he gave many tips to succeed in my career .
I posted some pictures in the spoiler for you

@sutty68: Not many race on the program but at 19yo it's better not to start too fast. |

@jandal7: Thanks
Grand Prix de la Ville de Lillers - Souvenir Bruno Comini
The morning before the race, I felt a bit anxious as it was my first race as a pro cyclist, and I already had the leadership of the team. I really wanted to show myself today as it always the first impression that stay.
The Race: It was a deluge, rain and wind everywhere, the kind of condition I'm loving . Petr Vakoc (ETX) was in the breakaway for us so we did not have to work in the pack leaving the race to Cofidis and La Pomme Marseille.
The race was in fact quite boring, until the attack of Evaldas Siskevicius (SOJ) who left the pack with more than 30 kilometers to go. Roubaix and Christina Watches - Onfone joined the chase and once he was brought back everyone stoped to work.
The breakaway still had an adventage of two minutes with 20 kilometers left and it was still growing. This is when Dieter Bouvry (ETX) and Louis Verhelst (ETX) took control of the break when Petr got distanced due to a mechanical. In the pack the tension was growing and I had to focus on my position at every instants.
On the we get the break back, Florian Senechal took me to the front of the pack. It might have been to early as no one was really fighting for this spot.
With 3 kilometers left, Eric Berthou (RAL) decided to take his chance and he escaped the pack. Flo did not panic and even if he hardly brought him back before the sprint.
During the sprint, I got blocked by a rider of Roubaix and I was not able to fully express myself.
The victory went to the Spanish rider Francisco José Pacheco Torres form Christina Watches - Onfone. I could not do better than 8th which is quite not what I expected this morning.
Rank | Name | Team | Time | 1 | Francisco José Pacheco Torres | Christina Watches - Onfone | 4h02'55 | 2 | Cyrille Patoux | Roubaix Lille Métropole | s.t. | 3 | Félix Vidal Celis Zabala | RTS Cycling Team | s.t. | 4 | Benjamin Giraud | La Pomme Marseille | s.t. | 5 | Ivan Rovny | Ceramica Flaminia - Fondriest | s.t. | 6 | Morgan Lamoisson | Team Europcar | s.t. | 7 | Yuri Metlushenko | Torku SekerSpor | s.t. | 8 | Maxime Dupuis | Etixx - IHNed CT | s.t. | 9 | José Isidro Maciel Gonçalves | La Pomme Marseille | s.t. | 10 | Renaud Dion | Bretagne - Séché Environnement | s.t. |
"- Max, you did good today, taking initiative would not have been to much, I think you could have tried an attack in the finish.
- Yeah, maybe, I though I could have counted on my speed today, but I might have been mistaking.
- Well, next week in Kattekoers, the race will suits you better, I hope I'll see you in shape there.
- You can count on me coach.
- Great, now go take a shower, you smell.
