What?
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

#Diary entry number 3 - Richard Plant - heir to the British cycling throne
Richard Plant - questions for his current master
I am the ward of Lampre boss sutty68, a curious but pleasent chap who has been showing of his member of the year trophy for last calender year. I see nothing special about it - but the Italians seemed to love it and really get off on things like that. Ponces the lot of them.
I remain aloof from the most part but out on the roads I am actually picking up some bits and pieces. These Italians have some obscure but effective combat methods, they are particularly good on wet roads and over strange terrian known as strade bianchi. We have headed out a few times into the mountains, our raids often proving fruitful. Unfortunately the crazed old Colombian fool stuck with us despite my personal attempts to ditch the peasant. I am still completely unconvinced I can learn anything from him perhaps in a race sometime he will grace me with his magic.
I approached the well membered team boss about where he will take me on expeditions this annum. He was busy consulting various scrolls and attempting to ink some sort of application form. I was concerned as I couldn't really read a word he was writing, it felt as if he was getting frustrated with it all. I gently asked him whether we would be campaigning in France this spring and his response was snappy to the point as if he had a quarrel with the French barons over something.
I do hope I get to bloody my sword in a campaign over in France though, there is nothing better than giving some frog a good bashing in my opinion. I am unclear as to where I am riding at all though to be honest I hope to find out soon as Diego Ulissi has been knocking on my door looking to build a closer allegience - something I have no interest in.

Countered goals:
Easy goal: Stage Win Qatar
Medium goal: Top 5 GC Tirreno
Hard goal: Top 5 San Remo

With two Italian races in the countered goals it will give the team that added incentive to try harder to achieve them |

#Diary entry number 4 - Richard Plant - heir to the British cycling throne
Richard Plant - Plant plunged into depression and doubts
The crazy old fool is gone and I am left without a mentor and without it would seem a purpose. The Italians have gone off to the local whorehouse or I hear of some fancy parlour games in the marshlands of Venezia - I don't care I refuse to join in their sordid adventures. I look to the cross now for my only solace and I cannot seem to find the answers for what I seek.
The plague infested wizard went off on a creaking barge to some godforsaken place across the seven seas - he took the real ragtag guys along with him too including the convict hepburn and a cheerful Moor known to us as Danny. I managed to find a tavern which had news of their fortunes - not good I hear so much for the Cardenes necromancy I am supposed to be learning. I guess it is in keeping with the 'lampre' company - I just do not know what I am doing here.
I am told that things might just pick up when racing starts in the more rugged terrain - my master tells me there are far more strategic cards to play. Not sure I can see the fellow's actual strategy at all, to be honest the whole San Luis invasion is looking like an utter waste of time to my eyes. Still at least I am not there with that crew - that is surely a suicide mission if ever there was one.
I find myself now on my knees fortunately not at the feet of Pippo Pozzato as much as the greasy haired lothario may wish - but in prayer for some sort of divine purpose. Oh father what is thyne purpose?

On a more serious note, Sutty is having some pc problems, so I had to create a few startlists for him. Let's see when he comes back

#Diary entry number 5 - Richard Plant - heir to the British cycling throne
Richard Plant - Affairs, politics and plebs
The crazy Cardenes wizard will be either on his way back or rotting in some otherworldly field - we have had only sparse information back from his crusade. We hear that he had been able to grab some booty - I refuse however to believe this I think there is treason afoot there.
In the absence of any battles for me in the near future I have resolved to get what I can out of what is now looking to be a foolhardy waste of a year for me. I have been using the famous Plant charm to weasel my way into the heart of beautiful wealthy Italian widow - well I say widow she may as well be as her husband is one of my Italian teammates who is busy whoring with the rest of the Lampre company.
Her husband is known in these parts as the 'Little Prince' obviously he does not have a member to rival that of my masters. She talks to me of happier days when her Damo was the grand champion of Italy some ten years back. I also find this hard to believe it seems the tall story is one often told in these parts. Still her Damo has done quite well on reputation alone.
He has gone off with some experienced campiagners to a tournament known as Strade Bianchi - once a small time unknown joast for villagers now has become quite the circus as riders are forced to go ride their cycles down long forgotten farmers tracks. Perfect for those riders who legs are close to being knackered I guess, old campaigner Manu Mori a real tough old boy managed a decent result here.
This seemed to rouse the locals somewhat who just love to here of success in local skirmishes and seemingly have concern on the bigger worldly picture. My mistriss however needed some consoling with her Damo finishing way back in 89th. I promised her some more honourific rewards when I am finally allowed to don my combat gear. My master often likes to entertain the ladies of the local gentry and it is heard his ear can be turned by these ladies. One in particular known and the grand Ollfardina is said to have very close relations to my well membered liege. I feel my mistress should get me a chance of plunder soon.
