Welcome to the 2014 Season
Even though we're only writing 1 December 2013, the preparations for the 2014 Season has already been underway for several weeks. This will also mark the 2nd season with the EPIC organization in charge and prior to our experience with their first season, has been really successful so far
Today we also travel to the Portuguese island of Madeira for our annual training camp and here we'll get a chance to see what our squad is capable of. We already have 6 new signings ready and they will all join us after saying goodbye to their former teams. Hopefully more will join us over the break.
Our strategy is still under heavy discussion and so far our common goal has been to promote Polish Cycling in any way possible, and even though our HQ is located in Savona, Italy we will never forget our roots
The team was founded in 2000 and was then named Mat Ceresit CCC and was in the beginning just an amateur team, however the sponsors got fascinated by the cycling world and saw an great investment, and that meant the team signed professional riders and in 2002 CCC Polsat was placed in the Continental Tour.
In the teams first years polish cycling wasn't at the very top , and most of the roster came from foreign countries, now CCC Polsat risked everything by mainly focusing on Polish riders and it was a great succes as 50 % of the team now had polish riders and already in 2003 they participated in their first GT in the Giro.
For the last 10 years the team have grown bigger and polish talents have appeared out of nowhere and that is mainly thanks to CCC Polsat's hard work. The team have only taken small steps so far, but now is the time to show the world that polish cycling is one of a kind!

reserved, this will now be our official thread. You can also post here now and new signings are welcome to re-introduce themselves and their goals.
Note that it's not required to start a new HQ, just wanted a clean space for the next season

Notice to all EPIC our riders
Hello, this is a message to all of our new custom rider signings, in the Transfer Season we will focus on building a small Sprinter department for Drago and Natt to control and a few helpers for André , Johann and Albert.
However I would like you to send me a message, where you will give your thoughts on how your season will be like and which races you want to focus on. We can only find the most suitable riders for you guys, if we're aware of what thoughts your having and where your priorities lies.

As I saw this new HQ, I'll just repost my introduction here.
Hey everybody,
I'm André, the new guy at CCC Polsat and I'd like to introduce myself to you just a bit. However, "new guy" is not meant in the way of "stagiaire who is sneaking his way in", but more in the "wow, their new big talent with foreshadowing results" way. As many of you may only be following pro racing, I'll explaine myself a bit:
With 14 years I have already been joining junior races and had quite some results in German Junior races, mostly local ones. In my home in Saxony I've been in a local club back then, but when I turned 15 I got the opportunity to join a BDR-training program and ended up becoming more and more focused and finally when I made my jump to the U23-class with 17 I have been able already to show myself a bit.
Then I was approached by former Thüringer Energie Team. In this new environment I could develop even further and soon I was seen as a big talent to be coming (not by many, but at least by myself ). Racing myself through the U23 calendar and getting more and more competitive, I just felt like my power increased and increased. Thanks to the good trainers at the team, I was then, one year later, even able to win some races not only in local areas, but also bigger German junior races. I remember winning my first stage of Tour de Berlin really well, that was my biggest win so far with 19 years of age.
At the moment, I'm twenty and you want to know what happened in between? Well, I was really successive throughout the youth calender. You did not notice that? Check aut procyclingstats, come on, its worth it! Since my biggest win, the youth edition of Rund um den Finanzplatz with a 50km-solo I have been approached by several smaller teams and other youth programs. That is because I have to leave Thüringer Energie Team now - as the team won't exist anymore next year.
But just recently, CCC Polsat asked me if I would be interested in joining the team. To be honest, it will of course be a change for me to move to Poland. However, I'm confident that I can go on with my trend upwards, so that I will be able not only to compete but also score on the highest level of cycling (except WT - but we will also race WT races, so still counts). I am glad that the team offered me not only a chance to develop in training and racing but also to already lead the team in several races, which will be my pleasure.
Looking in a hopefully brightful future at CCC Polsat, I'm returning to U23 racing now, but be sure: I'll train hard to enter my new team already on the highest competitive level.
André
Spoiler Did anybody really check pcs?

Dear manager,
I'm glad to hear you are already working on additions to our squad. The next season should be a successful one and I am looking forward to contributing my very own part.
It is incredible to hear that you are signing domestiques that should support me throughout the season and I'm willing to take this big responsibility. If there is any chance, I would like another German on the team, but that is just a suggestion.
In terms of the calendar I have rather less demands. Basically, I am going to race wherever you need me, because I trust you in picking the right races for me. Of course we both know that hills and time trials are my strengths, so I like week-long stage races best, especially in the BeNeLux-region where the climbs are short and steep.
There are just a few races I really, really want to be in. The Vattenfall Cyclassics are the biggest German race in the whole calendar, so I would give everything to be at the start line there. Of course I won't be a favourite, but I am willing to help our sprinters there. I just want to feel that athmosphere and be part of this big race. And maybe I can even surprise with a brave attack...
On top of that, I'd like to race some more WT races in order to gain experience on the highest level of racing. Maybe some rather hilly classics or the Eneco Tour could fit me, but I'll be in any race if you need me.
Considering that I might have more chances to score in CT events, I'd also like to go for Bayern-Rundfahrt and some more short stage races where I could possibly win something.
I hope we can work something out.
André

Last year I rode for Europcar where I mainly, or rather pretty much only, rode as a helper for the stars doing my bit to help the team promote to WT level. I myself didn't feel ready so I told the management that I wanted to leave the team to stay on lower level with a team that really appreciates me and my skills.
I grew up on Iceland pretty much climbing the mountains on my own - I still have a lot to learn when it comes to riding on the special TT bikes though but I think I'm slowly getting there. After all I am a double National CHampion and that is somethin to live up to.
For the season to come I have been promised a role as lead climber and even with some support. Guys like Llanet and Rebellin will be very valuable but one or two more solid climbers would probably be good for the team.
My exact calendar is yet to be decided, but I will be aiming for everything with mountains. Last year I did pretty well at Tour of Austria so it would be great to go back there. Apart from that I'm hoping for races like Trentino, Turkey, Qinghai, Oman and Burgos where most are decided in real mountains.
I'll probably out together a dream calendar one of these days...

same as silvio, just reposting the introduction, perhaps I should make a banner of some sort too
A new face in Orange,
Hallo people that have never heard of me before, I will be one of the new riders next year for CCC-Polsat so I thought I might introduce myself. I am Pyroli Feunard and I was riding for the Spanish Caja Rural team. I’m from France and I’m currently 18 years old but will turn 19 before the next season starts. I’m from a family of 10 and I’m the oldest of the new generation sort of speak. I have two brothers that also race next year, Aquali who will ride for FDJ next year and Voltali that is riding for Champion System next year. I like to classify myself as a rider similiar to Rebellin or Voeckler, a rider that isn't afraid to spend a day in the breakaway and win out of it. I didn't took any results this way though this season but I'm sure that I'm able to do that at CCC next year. One competition that I did do good at is the Feunard Games, which is a alternate ranking which only include my brothers and me. I'll give more details about the games when I actually am racing . If I find the time during the pre-trainingscamps, I'll make another update. Do zobaczenia następnym razem

Davide Rebellin
Hello guys
Good to hear from you so quick, I want to make a short welcome to you all once again and a few days into our Training camp, you've already shown great enthusiasm and we're honored to have you among us.
I'm still in need of talking with Drago di Silvestro about his new role, which will be to take mine. I've personally been busy finding a proper way of introducing Johann and Drago into the leadership. I will assist Drago in finding his right rhythm and I'm going to help Johann throughout the season finding his proper level.
Also a little welcome to Albert, André, Natt and Pyroli who will be great additions to the team and we're currently working on getting you some natives to the team, which will make this a little easier for you.

German Sprinter Phil Bauhaus
Hello
On the first day of the Transfer Period the Draft Picks was announced and we're proud to announce the signing of Phil Bauhaus. Phil is one of the biggest talents in the world and he'll be joining our as a part of our Sprinter Team. In the start he will function as a secondary sprinter for Matysiak, but will slowly catch up and being able to create some results.
He is inn the middle of his progression and with our team he will grow into a fast force to be reckoned with. All in all the Transfer Period will be short for CCC and we got some more exciting deals to be announced over the coming days

Ciao
It's Gabrielle here once again, we've just ended the negotiations with Omega Pharma Quickstep and Team Giant Shimano. We've managed to sign 3 different riders with different backgrounds and we're proud to have them here.
We'll post a full Transfers Round-up in a weeks time and until then take care!

Indeed. He is very fair and it is fun to deal with him, too.
I hope your Team will perform well next season, danny.

Dear manager,
I just noticed that you sold Phil Bauhaus. This move is kind of confusing me.
Why did you do that? Though I know that Trentin is a better sprinter maybe, I really liked to have another German on the team, because that would have given me a bit of home spirit. Furthermore, you know that I am a big fan of Bauhaus myself, so you hopefully understand I was first partying when you signed him - and then I was crying when you sold him.
Are you planning on getting some other German for next season? I would really appreciate it if this could be possible.
André

Hello André
We were aware of this and in the end it all depended on luck. Cause when you have a small budget as 46k is, everything depends on if everything happens in the right order. I will not reveal the main transfer details publically, but when I got an offer for Szmyd I couldn't decline and cause of a small confusion in the negotiations with Quickstep about Trentin, there wasn't a budget left to keep another german rider.
After this we're more than glad to hear, that you want to stay at the team after this season and we will sign with a few german domnestiques next transfer season if you decide to stay.

Halló Boss.
I have to congratulate you on your transfers. While I can understand why André is diasppointed I'm happy with Szmyd and Damusau joining the team. Especially the latter should help my transition after havin ridden on a French team and living in the French Alps the last year.
I'm really looking forward to start racing.
