Anyone get the beta? I got it earlier i started a United save they get 60 million.

Damn, I was gonna make this  Anyway, didn't get the Beta, but I think I'll start with a team like Albacete.
Also noticed something on FM 14. In a few years, I'll actually be on the game I won't be able to buy myself of course, but still
If anyone's in need of explanation, they have the semi-pro Australian teams in there, and if I stay with my current club then I'll be in the first team in a few years. Scroll down and towards the bottom you should see Northern Tigers. Although hopefully I'll be playing for someone better than that

I have the beta but given that I usually like to start a long term save with a very small club and work my way up the ranks I'm going to wait until the full version is released and they fix the problem with terrible goal keeping and unrealistic scores in lower league football.

Didn't go very far . Only an NPL 2 team though so yeah
EDIT: Just checked it. We got to the Quarter Finals of Qualifying before losing on penalties.

I got this today and started with York City. Already out of the League Cup losing 5-1 to Doncaster. Currently sitting 14th in the league, such just consolidate for this season.

Ok so this is technically an FM14 post (picked it up last weekend for cheap (first one since FM11!)) but i couldn't be bothered to dig out that thread.
I officially have the worst luck ever! Currently on a DDDWL streak across all competitions (DDDW Premier League, L in Capitol1 Cup Qtr's) which sucks ass. I could cope with that if we were actually playing badly or were facing good teams, but we're not.
Nope instead in those 5 games the team has had 47 shots on target and 6 goals as return. That's about a 13% conversion ratio against Sunderland, West Brom, Southampton, Norwich and Villa... Ridiculous!

FM is fun isn't it?
atm I'm quite frustrated as well (FM14), not about the results (3 times champions with sc Heerenveen now in 2020), but my left and right defenders pick up red cards like mad men lately.
Before Christmas Büttner has 3 red cards (1 League, 1 Cup, 1 CL), Fofana just picked up one in the league and Montero has one in the CL as well. Never changed my tactics, always made a lot of fauls but also never had this many red cards...
Oh and I hate the draws I've had so far. 3 Times CL, already faced Man Utd, PSG, Barcelona, Schalke, Real Madrid and Lyon in the groupstage

More annoying when i realise my strike Diego Costa has only scored 5 goals in 20 competitive games, and my second striker Huntelaar has scored 3 times in 12 games. My center backs are currently by 3rd and 4th highest scorers (Vertonghan with 7, Jones with 6)!

Right now 12 matches into 20/21
Schrijvers (Striker) 8 matches, 2 goals
José Roberto (Striker, regen) 8 matches, 3 goals, 2 assists
Marcão (Striker, regen) 1 match, 1 goal
Holland (Centre Mid, regen) 9 matches, 5 goals, 3 assists
Bergström (Central Defender) 9 matches, 2 goals, 2 assists
None of them is close to being a top scorer, but with this tactic I already had the league best scorers twice... Once with Finnbogason ofcourse and once with Matej Vydra (beastly player  )

Heerenveen. Not an outstandingly strong team now, but a very decent core with a few good talents, like Rubén Barbosa. If you chose Heerenveen you could consider buying Nabil Bahoui, who in my game is a really solid winger, scoring aprox. 15 times a season and giving plenty of assists. Also the obvious Pavel Savitskiy can fill that role...
You may want to replace the left defender, Raitala, though. He's not really good enough to lift the team to a higher level. Barbosa is too young to be a first team player, but an experienced guy can fill that role perfectly.

Heerenveen. Not only because it's Frisian, but it's also known for its good scouting and youth talents here. Not very knowledgeable of their talent in FM15, but players like Sinkgraven, Van Anholt and Uth are quite good IRL, and it's quite a likeable team in general. And they're Frisian

And to show you why you should buy Bahoui, the Swedish guy who speaks a ton of languages...
Brutal player for the Eredivisie, and imo 100x better than Slagveer, who I sold for a nice 4.8M to Twente

Ahh, FM.
Lovely game with some great mods as well.
Shame I usually get bored after a while, since the season progresses so slowly and there's no proper way to simulate.

I can do an entire season (as in July to July) in less han 10hours. Multitask, run FM in the background whilst you are doing something else for the main season parts. Works amazingly well

Doing homework and playing FM is a great combination which seems to work reasonably well for me. Took me months to get into the third season, but still...

Just because they have the bad taste of not having any Swedish players in the team
@fjhoekie would never buy Nabil he has destroyed to much fun for "my" team IRL in Sweden, IF Elfsborg 
Actually just started with PSV mostly because Hiljemark plays there  But I will surely play with both AZ and Heerenveen soon cause they seems very interesting aswell. |

Gotta hope Guidetti returns next season in that case 
Heerenveen has a tendency of picking up Scandinavic players so I guess it'd be a good choice if you're a Swede
