Welcome to the home of cycling's future, Team Manager Kevin Fisher has a vision, a vision to develop young cycling talents and protect them from the dark side of the sport, he pitched this idea to the UK anti doping agency, in the hope that there programme 100% ME would sponsor the team.

"Today's goal was to get as many of our riders into the top 10 as possible, as we believe this will be one of the deciding factors of who will win the race overall. Therefore we let the guys ride as hard as they wish, however we wanted Andy to get as high up as possible so that if we don't win the stage he has a chance to win the GC as the rest of the stages are sprint stages with time bonuses." Rob Hayles, DS
"Today's stage went to plan as Pete managed to come out with the win by 3 seconds, however we also managed to get Simon and Ryan into the top 10, with simon being the surprise of the day as we weren't excepting him to do as well as he prefers it when the road goes up. Our second objective was also met as Andy was 28th only 17 seconds down, therefore he is within distance to win the race if Pete can't manage to maintain his lead." "We have three main goals for today's stage, and they are to get a rider in the break meaning the guys don't have o work to chase the break, perhaps even meaning we can get the KoM points. We also want to hold onto the GC lead be it by keeping Pete up at the front, or for Andy or one of the other guys to win the stage and take over the lead. However if the race comes down to a sprint we will be leading out Andy for the sprint, and Scott will be his lead out man." Rob Hayles, DS
Race
Today's breakaway comprised of just Dayer Quintana meaning that as planned we didn't have to do any work today, so the guys could just sit at the front of the bunch and monitor any moves.
At the first sprint of the day Dayer picked up full points, but Pete managed to distance the rest of the bunch meaning he picked up the second place and with it the 4 second time bonus, Andy then won the bunch sprint for the final points. Then at the first KoM point Dayer piked up maximum points with Simon getting up for second and Tom Vermeer (Cyclingteam Jo Piels) third.
At the second KoM point Dayer still held a 6 minute lead with only 60km to go, and the peloton didn't seem interested in chasing him, however after Simon had picked up the second place and Pete jumping late out of the bunch to get the third, the sprint teams seemed to smell a chance of victory and began to work hard to catch up.
At the third KoM point Dayer led over the top, with Simon again breaking out the group for second, with Tomas Buchacek (Bauknet-Author) third.
At the third KoM point Dayer led over the top, with Simon attacking early on he climb from the group for second, with Tomas Buchacek (Bauknet-Author) third. Simon then attempted to extend his advantage on the descent however the pack decided they didn't want him gaining any ground. Dayer was then caught with 24 kilometre remaining and almost immediately Pete attacked gaining a minutes advantage before being reeled back in with 15 km to go. The team then began to ride for the sprint with a lead out train forming in the belly of the bunch.
It was Felix English who lit it up with just over 8km remaining doing a monster turn to get the guys to the front of the bunch and keeping a rapid pace for the next few km.
Simon Yates then took up the pace after English had done his turn showing that he's unbelievably strong at the moment after attacking all day, taking the guys up until 2 km to go.
Thwaites as planned led out Fenn from 2 km to go, however Fenn wanted to launch his sprint earlier than usual due to it being a tailwind finish.
Fenn then launched his sprint with 1.4km to go, and is challenged by Tom Dernies (Wallonie- Bruxelles) however begins to pull away with 1 km to go and with 100m to go Fenn has time to sit up and celebrate a great win that not only got him his first win of the season, it also allowed him to take the GC lead from Kennaugh.
The rest of the team all finished safely in the bunch, with Dayer taking the lading in the KoM, Kennaugh now leads the points with Fenn leading the GC and young riders ranking.

"Today's race was pretty simple for the lads as we managed to get Scott into the break, resulting in us not having to chase. Scott also managed to pick up maximum KoM points, securing Dayer the jersey for another day. When the break was brought back the guys tried to set up Andy for the sprint, although it didn't quite go to plan as Andy launched his sprint to late so Adam Blythe (NFTO) managed to get the jump on him. However we did manage to hold onto the race lead, which makes today a success, Andy was also able to maintain and strengthen his lead in the Points and the Young Riders, so yeah today was a success it's just a shame we didn't win the stage, but the guys are young and we have a lot to learn as a team as this was only our second race as a team. But we still have a lot to improve." Rob Hayles, DS

"The guys today wanted to try and lead Thwaites out for the win as he has been riding well all week. Dayer also wanted to make sure he had a good lead in the KoM going into the final day, so we want to get him into the break today which will also benefit the guys as they won't have to ride on the front. Andy said he wasn't feeling to great today so we'll have to see if he can maintain the lead, although he's doing pretty well in the points ranking so he should keep his lead in that. Pete is wanting to try something towards the end, so he can try to get the lead back so we've assigned Simon to help him in anyway he needs it, be it by attacking with him or leading him out." Jeremy Hunt, DS
"We managed to get Dayer into the break as planned and he won the KoM points so he has secured that so thats great as he's a young kid and its great motivation to train harder and race better." Jeremy Hunt, DS
"Pete also tried something going over the final climb, he attacked with Simon and got a pretty decent gap on the bunch with over a minutes lead going into the final 10km, but they both became fatigued and were caught with 5 km to go. It was a bold move and I'm sure it shows that he has great legs at the minute, and he's a force to be reckoned with when the road goes uphill." Rob Hayles, DS
"The boys managed to get a decent lead out train going, but when Fenn went to lead out Thwaites he just didn't seem to kick to get onto his wheel, and from then on it was clear to see that he wasn't going to be able to get the win. It's a shame because Andy lost the race lead because of it but they're all young lads and they have to learn from their mistakes as they have plenty of time yet to win. "The aim for today is to WIN! The lads were really down after yesterday, so we've decided to make the race as hard as possible, we want to get a man in the break to cause NFTO to have to chase meaning that they won't have as good a lead out meaning we will be ahead before the sprint. Luckily Andy is feeling better and is determined to get the jersey back Thwaites has apologised for yesterday as he said that his gear's jumped when he went to launch his sprint, although the guys weren't fussed as they know they still have plenty of time too win and this is only their first race together as a team." Rob Hayles, DS
"The guys rode great from the start with Dayer and Ryan getting in the first break of the day and really worked hard to cause the bunch to chase hard. It's impressive to see such two young lads put out a mature and tactically astute ride. It's a shame the group was brought back pretty quick as the guys were riding so strongly." Rob
" As soon as that bunch was brought back Teo countered, and immediately pulled 7 guys away with him, he was by far the youngest in the group but you wouldn't of guessed it as he wasn't afraid to ride hard to help the group get the gap. The group was perfect to get away as none of them had any KoM points meaning Dayer had secured the KoM jersey, so he could just stay in the bunch and help if he can at the finish" Jeremy
"Once Teo had dropped from the front bunch, Simon tried to get across but the bunch weren't going to let him so they caused hard, which was a shame because Simon was supper strong today. The guys then moved to the main plan which was leading Andy out for the sprint, which went well the guys did it perfectly but Andy wasn't at his full speed and Eric Young was able to beat him with Andy second. Although Andy was happy as it secured him the leaders jersey, meaning that we won every classification, which is brilliant as they are only young lads." Rob

"The aim for today was to get Andy up for the sprint and although we did manage it we weren't expecting the win, as the best sprinters in the peloton are here, it's just about learning the process of getting a lead out train functioning properly. Personally I was amazed that Andy got in the top 10 as he beat riders older and more renowned than him such as Boasson Hagen and Theo Bos. We even managed to get Simon in the break so that was great, I was really impressed with the riding by the team today and they should be proud." Rob Hayles, DS
"Today we really wanted to get a guy in the break, so that was a shame but I think our best is still to come so hopefully tomorrow we can get Simon and Pete up there. Andy rode his socks off again today, I mean as 23 year old he's really maturing fast, and I know Sagan and Quintana are the same age, but they have been racing at a pro level for 3 or 4 years, they have had a headstart on our guys, so I'm rely happy with how the season is going so far." " Today the guys wanted to get in the break as the thought the best chance of a win was the KoM jersey as they knew riders such as Contador and Bentacur would drop them on the final climb. However we had to still keep Simon in reserve as he had the best chance of getting a top 3 on GC as he was 5th overall going into today. Foir the guys that can't climb it was just a day bout survival and expending as little extra energy than they had to." Jeremy Hunt, DS
"Teo was the first guy to get up the road and he summited the first climb with a group of strong climbers including Deginan of Sky, so already we were happy with his day as we would of been expecting him to be distanced by those guys on the climb." Rob Hayles, DS
"Simon then attacked from the group in an attempt to get the KoM points, but he ended up bridging across to the Leaders, so the bunch started to chase them down as he was a threat on GC. Simon then dropped back from the break to give Teo a chance." Jeremy Hunt, DS
"Pete then attacked across to the break and him and Teo worked together to build a gap of over 4 minutes, however the group were never going to allow them to stay away and they were caught after summiting the penultimate KoM point." Jeremy Hunt, DS
"On the descent Simon managed to get in a break with Garmin's Tom Jelte Slagter, which was impressive as Simon was really able to use his head to decide which move to go with, however they are caught half way up the next climb. Jeremy Hunt, DS
" Pete and Simon then started to work hard on the front as Simon was the best placed on GC so if the bunch stayed together he ha a great chance of a top 10, however they lads couldn't follow the attack of Contador and had to settle for 11th and 12th on GC, a great result none the less but it was a shame as the rode so well all day.
