Introduction
Spoiler
Hi guys Danny here with my first story !
I have played PCM since I was 8 where I played Pro Cycling Manager 4, and have played on/off ever since. Now I have experienced many times where I felt that I've done all the things you can, and felt very bored at last to play this game.
So to avoid going back to this state I'm now here with my first story and this is gonna be a custom career, with a English / Belgium Team that will focus on dominating the classics and hopefully get a place among the big teams, as you can see a very classic scenario, so in order to make this special, this will be set in 3 different perspectives : a informal perspective , a personal perspective and outlook on the performances of the team.
Probably tomorrow I will post my team's jersey , expected lineup and Goals to make it more informal about what we can expect of the roster. My personal goal of this is to make the team as realistic as possible and will only add rider from the Northern Part of Europe and at least 30 % of the roster shall be from both Britain and Belgium. So in the coming days you can expect press conferences / AMA's , Reports and both blogs and personal diaries.
Atm I don't have a version of PCM 2013 , but I expect to have the game in about 2 weeks due to having no money atm ( I had the game but can't find it >.> ) .
Tell me what you think and what you want to be included in this mini project. So for the next 2 weeks you can consider this to be WIP , but will add several features while waiting , so from now on stay tuned and soon they're will be a whole roster to display Also from now I'm the manager and my name is Danny Anderson and origins from Britain and I will answer any question you might have
Cheers
sgDanny / Danny Anderson , Manager of Babel Tech - Adidas
EDIT : I will use the Pcmdaily Expansion Pack and difficulty will be hard at the start ( haven't played the new game so much ) and turn it to Extreme after some few days

Sounds like a nice project. Hope you can make the best of it
Good luck!
I don't know if you already know what squad you'll use, but I'd love to see the Yates brothers included, I think they would offer your team a nice future |

News Short
List of Newcomers :
Andrew Fenn
Ian Wilkinson
Kevyn Ista
Stjin Devolder
Today the first 4 riders signed a deal with the new Continental Team, Babel Tech - Adidas' own manager Danny Anderson commented on the signings :
" I'm proud to be in this position, because the first add-ons in our roster will now be presented, first we send an request to Kevyn Ista, and other than being a belgian rider , he will add a strong backup in our common goal in the classics and we are proud to announce his arrival.
That can also be said about two of the other signings, they are Andy Wilkinson and Andrew Fenn. Wilkinson has showed great performances over the last year and is a very stabile rider.
As for Andrew Fenn we have a quick and agile sprinter, that will get a chance to shine when we feel fit to do so. We are still in some talks with other sprinters , and Andrew will probably be our 2nd sprinter, but that doesn't mean he won't get a chance to prove himself.
We have made it very clear that our goal is the classics, so here is the rider that especially Kevyn shall carry through rain , cobbles and shear pain. He is one of the most experienced riders in the peleton and he has told me that he looks for a team, that can give him a chance in the big classics once more, he needs no introduction his name is Stjin Devolder, and I look forward working with these guys !"

Won't happen since they are from Australia and will only accept riders from Belgium , Great Britain , Denmark or The Netherlands
Also a certain rider has something to say :
" Babel Tech is a new opportunity to be a part of something you will be able to develop and evolve with, and for that very reason I will join this team! I have been promised a great deal , but in the end its up to myself to reach a level, I can and this team can be proud of " See ya on the other site , gn !

" In this Transfer update 5 riders will join our team! In this update we focused on scouting for the perfect riders that can fit our team, however we also decided that the Hilly Classics should be prioritized as well, so we have signed Jonathan Tiernan-Locke . Jonathan will have a separate role from the others and he will get many chances to score as many points as possible with the support of our roster.
For the flat classics and for the support to Stjin, we have signed 2 cobblestone riders that in general can ride in any terrain, other than up. They need no introduction and are known for solid performances, Koen De Kort and Kasper Klostergaard will and they will be a strong addition to the team and fits our play style and rider types.
And if anyone should be in doubt what our play style is, we will go fully for dominance in everything we participate in and other than having some strong individualists in the classics , we also want to have a strong sprint train, so that Ben have the best conditions possible. With that said these two riders will be crucial for having the control and aggresion we will need in the next season.
Ian Stannard and Rasmus Quaade will join the team from this day forth and they are perfect riders for our goals and have shown great enthusiasm in joining the team"

Yes Indeed If everything goes as planned , I can start the career in 2 days and the last 5 riders will be announced there, to make sure it's not so unrealistic I doubt that more stars will join, but there are some young prospects I may add

Entry Log 102 :
"Hi guys ! after a 2 month break I'm back on my diary The last two weeks have been the busiest of my life since we had a team gathering in Aberdeen, god I'm exhausted! The idea was that we were set in 4 groups of 5 each and would would get one backpack each and a map , that we had to follow + a tent.
We were then told that we had five days to reach the final destination, but that we were only equipped with food for 3 days each. But the real challenge were that we had to gather wood for bonfires with our own hands, find alternative food sources and sleep 5 people in a 2 man tent. Some of you might say that's not a big challenge , but it would be for a person like myself, that have no experience with such thing.
But the only bright side to the challenge were, that new signing Jonathan had tried something similar, when he became lost as a young kid in the alps on a vacation. The first day we were met by a raw and hilly terrain and it was brutally cold! We could see on the map that we had to go 40 km to reach the nearest forest, the first step was set at 6 am and we reached the outskirts of the forest at 9 pm...
To be continued ...
