After a slightly dissapointing first, Banco Nacional didn't want to continue as a main sponsor, luckily, team manager Dev got in touch sponsor of the giant ex-team, ONCE-Eroski who wanted to get into cycling again and after some impressive results in our first year, the decision wasn't hard to for the former giant, ONCE-Eroski.
As you might know, ONCE-Eroski has a long record in the cycling world in the past, both from good and bad. The teams biggest sportive achievemt was when Roberto Heras won the Vuelta in 2004, two year years laiter, Alexandre Vinokourov repeated the huge accomplishment.
But it was then the scandals started to appear at ONCE-Eroski.
In 2005, Roberto Heras tested positive for EPO in an urine sample which he had taked during the 2005, which he also had won and he got stripped of what could've been a record breaking fourth win of the Vuelta.
On 2 June 2006, the team got a new primary sponsor, namely Astana. Liberty Seguros - Würth and ONCE-Eroski was done in the cycling world for good, they thought.

We're definitely going to clash over some of those goals - should be fun! Will be interesting to see if the couple of remaining CT team from 2013 have an advantage as the season progresses as they at least have a starting core of riders, and of course a full years worth of experience! Good luck in the new season (just not too much, especially when racing in Colombia ).

Hehe, might have to do some changes later so it doesn't get too pink, but atleast we will stand out a bit
And yeah, picked pretty ``popular`` races so can see alot of people picking similar goals, I'll will also be looking forward to some nice battles in the transfer window, as long they don't contain a certain ageing spaniard

Thanks! Those goals are definitly going to be hotly contested, look forward to facing you there. And yeah, if I had some more experience last year I would definitly do alot of things differently Think my core will be useful, but might not as useful as you think I got one top top rider and that's probably the one rider i'm not planning on keeping Will definitly need to be 100 % focused during the transfer so I don't fail all my goals, which could easily happen.

You already know about our interest in TJ Slagter
Now that your focus changed to Spain, maybe Enrique Sanz will appeal to you in a possible swap as a good flat and cobbles domestique.

@Cio
While I thank you for the interest, we feel releasing TJ Slagter for M Sanz would be a very unfortunate deal for us, while Sanz is decent rider, he has nowhere near the talents which TJ Slagter holds. We must also say Cobblers aren't high on our priority list this year so he wouldn't fit into the team structure either. But with this said I must say a deal certainly could be made around both riders if we reach our transfer targets and we both reach an agrement in the transfer season, but a straight swap is very unlikely indeed.

I wasn't expecting this to be a straight swap with no additional money involved anyway
We will contact you once we know more, and you can always contact us first if you're in need of a bigger budget for another transfer.

Just a quick question, after I studied your logo. Did you make it yourself mate? It looks a bit paint-ish.
I made this for you, in case you want it - I haven't finished it as I didn't know if you wanted it. I'm no good at graphics so there's probably others much better at making the details work!
Also, I found this which can probably be made very cool aswell!

Main transfer target finally secure!
FL | MO | HI | TT | STA | RES | REC | CO | SP | ACC | FT | DH | PRL | 68 | 79 | 73 | 68 | 73 | 78 | 74 | 51 | 52 | 62 | 71 | 59 | 68 |

The experienced spanish climber is a essential signing for us. He will be vital in completing many of our goals. He will be the absloute team leader everywhere he race and we also hope he will be a massive points scorer for us and lead the team in the battle for promotion.

Arroyo could be our (read: Iglinski's) main opponent, especially since we share the same win goal. I expect some fierce battles

Team Presentation Part 1: The Leaders
Absloute Leader:
David Arroyo 34 years - 79mt, 73hi, 78res, 68tt 350.000€ 4.100 exp
David will be our absloute team leader for 2014. He cost us a fair bit of money, but in return he is expected to fight for the win in all the races he will take part in. He will be our man to count on to complete our goals aswell.
Co-Leaders:
Carlos Castaño 35 years - 76mt, 72hi, 70tt, 72res 65.000€ 4.100 exp
Carlos was a bit like a late move for us. After failing to sign spanish veteran climber, DanielMoreno, we had to look elsewhere for potential co-leaders. Carlos is expected to lead everywhere where Arroyo isn't present and hopefully bring in a few nice wins on the way.
Jaroslav Kulhavy 29 years - 76mt, 73hi, 74res, 73acc 93.000€ 4.100 exp
Like Carlos, Jaroslav was a bit like a late signing, after missing out on several other targets. And likewise to Carlos, he is expected to lead in the mountain races where Arroyo isn't present and since I got a decent kick aswell, he might feature in a few hilly races aswell. He also known to be fearless down the hills.
Deiber Esquivel 32 years - 76mt, 67hi, 75res, 74rec 65.000€ 4.100 exp
Deiber is also known to be a fearless man downhill. He already showed that last year when he used his brilliant downhill skills to decide the tough mountain stage-race, Jelajah Malaysia. Deiber will also get his chances during the season, but will also be a luxury-domestique delux for David in the hardest mountains.
Nazar Jumabekov 27 years - 74hi, 72mt, 71sta, 71rec 60.000€ 4.100 exp
Nazar is our leader in the hilly classics and our only rider who is specialising in that area. Nazar will lead our team in all of the hilly races we are racing and might co-lead by Jaroslav's side in some, although Jaroslav is best when it comes to longer climbs.

You surely have the strongest CT mountain squad (much to my discontent, since I wanted to achieve that ), you'll be a force to be reckoned with!
