Team Festina - Canal + 2014 HQ
Last season Festina and the french television channel Canal+ merged into a seamingly fit concept, where french domestiques should rise to the task. It was a season of transition which was also proved by a historically poor season for the previously aknowledged Festina setup.
The first, and most difficult season of transition seems to be over, and the base of french and greek riders seems to have been complete. The 2014 season should be better resultswise, hence the team will be aiming to bring in a few very strong riders to compete for a top 5 in the overall PT rankings.
Greek cycling have been on the rise for the past couple of years, and the team will still strive to have the best greek riders in the team, for years to come. Having 4 at the moment, seems like a good measure of the talent composed with how the team should evolve. Beisdes the obvious french focus it's very important that we focus on developping the greek cyclingnation into a respectable one.

Having finally reached the end of 2013 we look towards the upcoming season. Some riders are destined to stay, while others have expressed their desire to leave, and others might be on the stepstone for a new move, if the offer is significant. Having a very large pre-renewals squad we will try to manifest our situation to the public:
Will definately stay:
Pierre-Henri Lecuisinier
Laurent Pichon
Clement Koretzky
Óscar Guerao
Georgos Tzortzakis
Cedric Lebris
Pierre Rolland
Mathieu Bernaudeau
Might leave:
Alberto Contador
Diego Ulissi
Tim Dees
Anthony Lavoine
Nacer Bouhanni
Jens Keukeleire
Ivan Kovalev
Ramunas Navardauskas
Will probably be sold:
Markus Fothen
Bauke Mollema
Chris Anker Sørensen
Steve Morabito
Benôit Sinner
Geert Steurs
Eligable for loan deal, or very good offer:
Alexis Gougeard
Charalampas Kastrantas
Piter Campero
Bryan Coquard
Yoann Paillot
Panagiotis Vlatos
Will not be renewed:
Jason Donald
Ioannis Tamouridis
Feel free to state whether or not you might be interested in any of the above riders.

As previously stated, we at Metinvest are über-interested in your italian punchy star. Apart from that, Kovalev and especially Navardauskas are the persons of interest of our team too.

As already stated in our own HQ we could be interested in Kovalev to enhance our TTT squad. Also Vlatos and Kastrantas could be interesting given our focus on the Greek part of Cyprus.

Jens Keukeleire would be a perfect fit for our team, I'd love if he's available eventually and we could find common ground in transfer season to further strenghten our relations.
Possibly we could find ways to include a loan swap of some of our riders in such a deal.
We should be able to get most of your lvl3 guys to gain a level even in PCT, while we might have riders like Demare or Daniel ready to get some PT experience.

Looking back on the renewals Team Festina is very happy with the outcome, and the possibility to re-assign no less than 28 riders for less than 3,5mio. It does actively mean that Jason Donald and Ioannis Tamouridis bid their farewell to the team. We thank them both for their duty in the jersey, but respect their choice of moving away from the big league, as age is pushing on.

Mobil come to show that Piter Campero is of our interest. Does the Festina DD have something to say about that? |

Piter Campero would love to join a lower league on a loan-basis, but the team is reluctant to let him go on permanent basis, as he already managed to steal the hearts of every mountain-eager Festina fan. Piter Campero rode straight into the hearts of those with his ever aggressive style of racing, and seeing him progress to a good mountains rider is very satisfying for the team.
We are not denying any interest at this point, but would prefer to loan him out for a season. The fact that he won the national championship is another factor that makes us want to keep him for the future.

The Euskaltel-Bavaria Team is very interested in getting one of Coquard, Bouhanni or Keukeleire. And Bauke is also of interest considerimg his wage.

Bryan Coquard is looking for a new team on loanbasis, however Nacer Bouhanni or possibly Keukeleire could be on the move if the right offer should land on the table. Bauke Mollema is likely to leave the team i this transferwindow.

A Loan is certainly not out of question with Coquard. Actually A loan would be ideal for me.

Sounds nice. Obviously I have to look into his progress before any decisions will be made, and as I have currently no clue (haven't checked) which division would be most interesting for him, I'll invite you to contact me in the first week of the transferperiod.
