Just thought Id throw open a thread for anyone to offer suggestions for changes to the ManGame, with the end of the season now being one 'in game' month away.
Can be about any aspect of the game, any thoughts that you might have are welcome.

I think somebody suggested it last year already, but a B-Worlds would be a great idea. A race in which all the Nations that can't field a team for the proper worlds, held at an obscure location like Kyrgyzstan or somewhere. There could also be a special jersey, like there is for the real one.

My only suggestion would be to take a little bit off the game, to speed up the process slightly... 14-15 months or whatever it has taken from transferperiod to transferperiod is a bit too long I think. A year could be alright though.
Also, just a question. Which PCM version are we using next season? The same as this season?

Not making Goals before knowing races... or assigning races with priority to those with that race selected as a Goal. This really bugged me at the start of the year as i felt heavily punished for being busy.
I would say a specific set of Man-Game awards but i could organize that via The Sound...

My recommendation. Use the Same PCM Version for every race. Not a few on 13, some one 11 and 12, etc.

All races were run on PCM12 this season. And all, i think, will be on PCM13 next season

I'm really interested to hear why you got that impression.

I certainly hope we use PCM13. I can't take these non-selective mountain stages in PCM12. IMO, PCM13 has more selective mountain stages - that don't end in 80rider sprints.

The PCM version never change indeed during a season!
I think the B-Worlds would be interesting and some kind of reward for those managers with exotic teams.
Teams like Costa Rica, African countries, Eastern Europe for example struggle to make it to the Worlds.
But as this would be very time consuming it depends of course if anybody has some time to do an inofficial Worlds. |

Speaking of those very focused teams... Some form of reward for being Nationalistic? Cash or Race Priority or Something Else. Just an incentive to not just get the best riders possible, but to build a real project (like Oz, JK before it disappeared, Boeing and more)

Get rid of the loan cap - or at least stagger it so that talent-centric CT and PCT teams can loan out level 3 talents without having to dip into their wage cap. For example, Dombrowski will cripple a potentially CT WWE team due to the cap as they may be able to only loan him out and no one in. |

Not sure if this is smart.
I think going a bit exotic will reward you automatically in a few seasons either way as you have less interesting markets as first and this way smaller wages. Then you have the opportunity to develop some talents there. No need to be 6 or 7. Also potential 5 guys could become very good PCT riders or role players in PT.
Giving them a reward would only lead to several others going this way and this could lead to some inbalance in the more interesting markets I think.

I remember SN to pretty sure confirm that we will use PCM 2013. And what reason would it be compared to PCM 2012?
I like the B-Worlds idea, altough that may be a signal of more work for SN. |

I dont like the Loan Cap idea either. The loan cap does however prevent CT teams from completely dominating everything.

@Roturn
It's a fair point. But if i think of an idea i'll put it out, can't hurt to try
@Loan Cap
I agree.... mostly. I can totally understand why it's there, and it's not to hobble the CT teams, but to prevent them being exploited. However it does more damage to them than good, imo. The WWE example is a good one, but admittedly it's part of the risk you take when signing the huge name talent for half a million. A large part of that damage depends on how his wage drops.
I don't think the Loan Cap should totally disappear, but it should be reduced to allow CT teams to own a bigish talent without having to worry about how they can get in other riders.

I like Manx's idea and the B-Nations Worlds. I think the Loan Cap needs to be there so that a CT team, can't just dominate.

I think the B-Worlds are a great idea, just as long as they're not too time-consuming. Also I think LLS got his idea of changing games from EPIC. I like the loan cap idea, because a CT team can theoretically sign someone for 400k and still have a decent team.

Though when a CT team promotes then they will have a hard time finding strongiders so they can compete.
