:>> Hey,
My name is Jason and welcome to my blog. For the next year this blog and it's related adventures will be my whole life. And that is going to need a little bit of explanation. So lets get down to business.
My full name is Jason Bourne, please don't mention it i get the joke... a lot... I'm 18 years old and am about to embark on a mental gap year project. I'm English and a huge cycling fan. One of those is obvious and the other just because someone will ask at some point.
So why a crazy adventure challenge? Well i've been a cycling fanatic since i was 12 and school has never been an interest to me. So i'm taking an extended break before entering the working world, in which i will view as many cycling races as possible. No goal as such just to travel the world watching cycling.
This blog will be updated with all of my adventures and experiences from the next year, and hopefully a load of photos and possible some video capture as well if i can manage it.
More specific details will come soon enough once i get started. My first target is to get out to Australia for their Nationals. This ticket is the only one my parents will help with so from then on it's down to my own methods to secure travel.
Join me again soon <<:

This looks interesting and different. It will be interesting to see what you can do with it, I'm sure it'll end up awesome, but quite hard, and unique, I very much like the idea, and, of course, wish you the best of luck. |

@Hobbit - Nothing quite as epic or dramatic as Karl. Should still be interesting but in a very different way from the normal on the site
@Numbers - What with Karl being finished and all, time to move onwards, slowly.
@Jsea - I wish!

Wow, sounds like an epic concept. Looking forward to it. I assume you don't really take part in racing then but just watch the teams fight it out?

@Jak - Well one actually finished. No loss of writing motivation and a planned idea. So yep quickly keeping going
@Shonak - Well he's not a rider and he's not associated with a team. Read to find out how it will work

@Matthew - Bit early for Bananas
@Sutty - Don't get too excited, it's gonna be different. Not sure about great
@maxime - I used him for one of the Spidetech-Cervelo stories ages ago. I also use the name in a few other games i play. Thanks
@ALL - Got a little bit more the prep before i can really get into things but shouldn't keep you waiting too long. Look out at the Weekend

@ALL - Everything set up now so read to get going. Going to try out a new feature, one that's been tried a couple of times but not really worked. All will be revealed in the next update later today

:<< Start of a Journey >>:
:>> Sup!
So i have just gotten to my first hostel in Australia. Flight landed earlier in the day and it took ages to get through Customs etc. Absolutely shattered right now, what with having spent 20 hours on a plane and being on the other side of the planet. But it seems like an appropriate time to blog.
Currently i'm in Melbourne and will be here for a couple of days. Easing into this trip slowly before heading onwards to Buniyong to watch the Nationals in a couple of days. Looking forward to the real beginning of this year for me.
Not much else to say at this point. Except check out My BlogSite. While i'll put all my major entries up here, check the site out for special extras and all my photos and things from the year. Will be updating it most days with something new, so worth looking it over.
