Still interested?
SilasColdfire
Hey guys, I'd really like to try writing a story, but first I wanna know if you're still interested in a PCM 2011 story.

Secondly, and equally important, I have to ask if somebody with some expertise would be willing to help me by maybe creating shirts for my team and explaining me how to get shirts & team logo working in the game, I heard it's a bit mroe difficult when I create a team in the game...

Already looking forward to your responses!

Cheers
Silas

Alot of people are interested in stories for any game as long as the content is good Smile

You can find many threads on the forum filled with users who will create a jersey for you?

PCM2011 did and still does have great stpries so of course you can start a story. If it goes on for a while then people will follow so enjoy it if you do.

SilasColdfire
Yep, that's what I thought as well so far.

Maybe I'm blind but unfortunately I only found forum threads that don't accept requests anymore, do you have any recommendations?

Right, thanks, I'll ask him and meanwhile continue thinking about a concept.

I'd love to see another story on PCM 11, sadly I don't have the time of my own to do one, but I dearly love to read them.

What are your ideas?

This was a bit uncalled for.....
baseballlover312, 06-03-14 : "Nuke Moscow...Don't worry Russia, we've got plenty of love to go around your cities"
Sarah Palin, 08-03-14 (CPAC, on Russian aggression) : "The only thing that stops a bad guy with a nuke is a good guy with a nuke"

Wow, cool that there's this much response Smile

I was planning on the following concept:

- creating a team with the focus on 1-week-stage-races and absolutely not on sprinting
- playing some races/stages in 3D mode, but not every single one
- involving my readers in some decisions when it's possible

Sounds good Smile
Looking forward to it BananaBananaBanana

I'm interested. Wink

But 90% up of people, when starting a story, fail to get past January. So here are some tips:
---- Set some goals (so you have something to aim towards)
---- Make it different (ie, I have a story where we try to promote cycling in Qatar/ Atlantius has one with an emphasis on the Nordic countries)

Smile

Never promise people that you will do a report or reports every day as this puts pressure on you, just work at your own pace Wink

So maybe I should wait until February to start my story?
Just kidding, I know what you mean Wink

I once had a story from EA Sports Football Manager, and I chose Auckland City FC from New Zealand. I like this kind of projects very much.

Absolutely. I'm setting the pace. I've already made some experience with that Wink

Thanks a lot guys!

Take your time to start the story, there's no hurry. You can already start with writing reports before you create your story thread here, to see if you enjoy it and if you can continue it. And TheManxMissile made a thread with many tips for your story. (https://www.pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthr...d_id=31058) So you can take a look there as well. And don't worry about the game. When your story is good then you'll get many followers. Wink

Thanks for the link and the tip Cool
