Daan Luijckx has said he wants to look for more future talents and not depend on the Rabobank anymore. This meant a development team would be set up. Since Vacansoleil didn't have the budget to sponsor such a team, minor sponsors were asked. Main sponsor became cloth maker Projob. As they couldn't carry the budget on their own, a new sponsor had to be found. Chemical storage company Odfjell decided this was the moment to step into the world of cycling. All that was needed now was riders. Since I have been asked to become team manager, I thought this would be a great opportunity for you to be part of this team. Vacansoleil has announced the highest ranked rider in July will be trainee from August on and the highest ranked rider in October will join the squad for the next season. The jersey will look like this:

Name: Taeke Roorda
Date of Birth: 15-03-1993
Nationality (and region): Netherlands, Friesland
Specialty: Short TTS
Highest stat: PRL, 67, other strong stats should be FL, TT and HI
Short biography: Born in Nes, Ameland, Taeke hasn’t been able to ride really long distances in his early years as a cyclist. It'll be an Asian, researching details atm.
Name: Khieu Thet Khamphan
Date of Birth: 17/03/1993
Nationality (and region): Siem Reap, Cambodia
Specialty: Cobbles and Sprinting
Highest stat: Cobbles
Short biography: Khieu Thet is a cousin of the succesful Europcar rider Lue Khamsé Khamphan, and is a cobbler just like him. His father is the brother of Lues father, and moved to Siem Reap to work as Archaeologist on the temples of Angkor Wat after he had finished studying in Vientiane. From a very young age, Khieus favourite past time was to ride his bike around the huge temple complex and to other nearby temple ruins. When he was old enough, he made that hobby to a job, showing tourists around the temples. After seing how good his cousin was doing in Europe, he decided to take that risk too, and after paying all his money for a one-way flight to Amsterdam, he got sigend by the new ProJob - Odfjell Cycling team.

Cool. I'd like to get in on this
Name: Peter De Groote
Date of Birth: 25/06/1992
Nationality (and region): Nederland (Amsterdam)
Specialty: Time-Trialist
Highest stat: TT 70
Short biography: De Groote was born in Limburg but moved at the age of 5 to Amsterdam. Originally a long-distance runner, he only made the move to cycling at the age of 17. He's immensily powerful on long efforts.

Name: Johnnie Flodder
Date of Birth: 30/11/1991
Nationality (and region): NL (Amersfoort)
Specialty: Sprinter
Highest stat: SP 72
Short biography: Johnnie Flodder is a tough sprinter, not afraid to use some elbows if needed. As a real Dutchie, he hates moutains. He does get over the smaller hills decently, but anything higher than the Cauberg and he's out. He's not a cobble specialist, but he doesn't hate them either. He does hate time trialing, he rather wheelsucks his way to the finish line and come in with a strong sprint.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

@Krisa You have to change his date of birth or best stat.
Name: Simon Holt
Date of Birth: 11/12/1993
Nationality (and region): Norway
Specialty: Hills
Highest stat: HI: 68
Short biography: Having lived in the hilly part of Norway, Simon has always been good at riding the hills. In fact, he had to cross a few hills to go to school.
Simon is seen as a big talent, getting really strong results on the hills, and having a strong finishing sprint as well. Still, he keeps both his feet on the ground. He loves cycling and doesn't ride for money, since his parents are already quite wealthy.
Simon can't wait to enter the team!
Edit: With those stat restrictions, real beasts can be made I fear. I mean, a 72SP can have 71HI, a 72HI can have 71TT, a 72TT can have 71SP/HI. Or worse, a 72MO can have 71SP

@Jesl - So don't do that, simples I also assume then that Selwink would drop your other stats lower to compensate

Name: Fatbardh Haxhi
Date of Birth: 02-01-1992
Nationality: Albanian
Specialty: Flat/Cobbles
Highest stat: 69 FLAT ---- Then Cobbles --- Then sprint...
Short biography: The teammates will have to keep a close eye on Fatbardh as he has just ended a stint in prison. At well over 80 kilograms he will be largest team member. He can not go up mountains for his life but when it comes to the flat he is like a tank and has often been seen passing cars on the motorways in Albanian. He is one dangerous individual.

Nice to see so many participants already. 5 slots still open: all riders must be Norwegian or Swedish, unless MrUfo87 and/or tmr96 decide to make one. 3 Norwegians and 2 Swedish still necessary

Oh, and here is Jonas Ek:
Name: Jonas Ek
Date of Birth: 2nd November 1993
Nationality (and region): Swedish
Specialty: Cobbles
Highest stat: COB68
Short biography: Jonas was born in Ystad, Skåne. In the flat region there, he developped an excellent skill on the flat. When his family moved to Wallers, he moved with them. After endless training on the cobbles around him, he decided to apply for the talent squad of Vacansoleil, and here he is.

I have to elaborate this a little. You can decide 2 other stats, but I will decide what other stats you can decide. Those who received a PM will know what I mean. I thought I'd mentioned already, but after rereading, I now see what went wrong.
