23 circuits of 8 to 9km that all involve one steady 1.5km 4.5% climb.
Can the lardy sprinters cope with this? They should be able to frankly and that is what many team heads are thinking with a heavy PCT and CT sprinter presence.
Roelandts (Bouygues), Hoffman(Metinvest), Napolitano(Evian), Vantomme (Rothaus) and Avelino (Prio Porto) are possibly the fab five out of this field. However there are plenty of others who'll be hoping to sneak in a decent sprinting performance no doubt leeching a wheel from somewhere.
There is also a few roulers who may fancy a crack at a powerhouse late dash Neils Albert (Bpost) or Geraint Thomas (Boeing) fit the bill for that type of move.

So far I haven`t made good experience with sprinter classics and those hills.
I hope it`s different this time and Vantomme can deliver a top5.
My guys are good to chase the breakaway but at least none of those should be trying to form a sprint train. Might be better.
Otherwise promotion slowly becomes harder as Bouygues, Vueling, Volkswagen, Tinkoff and ING all point higher than I do recently. At least I think so.

Well, Tyler Day for a top 10 hopefully. Or Ngue with a breakaway and stealing the race

On a good day Gavazzi/Lorenzetto should be able to top 5. Important race, as all of them are at the end of the season.

Chicchi is going to maybe get Top10, but nothing special. My hopes are on G! Long distance plays to his strengths, as does the climb. If he's aggressive it could be very interesting.
And return for Aleksiev and Stoenchev from l'Avenir

Ahh, it is here and i dont like the startlist, as this is the win goal for Metinvest, riding in our home country. Hoffman will for sure benefit from a bit harder course, which is not completely flat, but why on earth has Napolitano and Vantomme to be on every race of the calendar?
I sent strongest possible sprinter lineup, so lets see if the fans will push us forward, together with our friends at PrivatBank. I will be happy with Polivoda finishing high! (but behind Nolan obviously)

Napolitano could win this but with Roelandts around a top 3 would do. |

Last season Vantomme failed as I didn`t send him to the classics. This year he is at all classics more or less and is going well with that change.
So expect him also in most or all other remaining classics. |

Nice to see Boeing visible at various moments. Stoenchev in the break, and Thomas sort of attacking towards the finish. Shame Chicchi is f*cking useless, being beaten by 3 other Boeing riders.
Nice lose finish amongst the real sprinters though. It's the best race for excitement, but the report was very nice read, good job.

Nice 2nd. Much better than his shameful performances in Baltic Chain...
Being 2nd behind Napolitano is almost a win this season.
I don`t really want to see his new contract claim... |

If we'd started like this we'd be promotion candidates. Napolitano is on fire, can he outscore Bennati from last year is the real question. Herald Sun and Paris-Tours to go!
Thanks for reporting Smowz, much appreciated |

This turned out to be another show of strength of Napo. Congrats to Evian, he's surely making himself worth the money he's being paid. The sprint was actually well disputed despite the lack of organisation. In the end most of the favourites had a good positioning which only elevates Napolitano's victory.
As for us, it seems Avelino couldn't really cope with the toughness of the race. Luckily Santos was there to get us a fortunate top10.
Thanks for the report Smowz. Concise and direct, great for this sort of race.

Funny that with every additional race he wins, Napolitano gets closer to Free Agency
We have to wait for new rankings to get an indication, but outscoring Bennati would be outstanding and as much as I like you, I hope he doesn't

If he wins the final stage of the Baltic Chain Tour he will have the same number of points with 8 race days remaining. He is currently on 1012 - Bennati got 1162. It'll be close for sure. |

Which in your position right now, is not necessarily a good thing
Great run you got though, certainly has to be quite enjoyable for you finally to see the team deliver.

He was 85SP. In the CT he had 2SP advantage over everyone and a better HIL stat. Napolitano is much weaker |
