The answer to by far most questions...
You have not installed the Expansion Pack to the correct folder.
If you have the Steam version, you have to manually change the installation path. In most cases, the correct path is something like C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2013.
If you have the regular version, please check that your installation folder says 'Season 2013'. If it's e.g. 'Saison 2013' or 'Seizonen 2013' or similar, you may have to change the installation path too.
My game crashes at the Giro or in Tour of Benelux.
There's an issue with four stages that were mistakenly included with the Expansion Pack despite the fact that we were aware of the problem.
There's a fix included with the Expansion Pack which you can activate by deleting the faulty stages. Alternatively, you can download THIS PACKAGE which you install by unpacking the content to CM_Stages in your PCM folder - for example: Program Files\Cyanide\Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2013\CM_Stages.
If you prefer the other solution, these are the files to find and delete:
top_benelux_01_v4-xflyinghighx.cds
top_benelux_01_v4-xflyinghighx.zces
top_benelux_05_v6-xflyinghighx.cds
top_benelux_05_v6-xflyinghighx.zces
top_benelux_06_v4-xflyinghighx.cds
top_benelux_06_v4-xflyinghighx.zces
top_giro_09_v11-Stylus.cds
top_giro_09_v11-Stylus.zces
Riders are floating and aren't using any equipment.
This means that the equipment isn't in the right folders, and thus you've probably not installed the Expansion Pack correctly.
Install again and make sure that the Expansion Pack is installed in the folder where your Pro Cycling Manager is installed.
In Steam, that's probably something like C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2013.
In other versions, it's C:\Program Files\Cyanide\Pro Cycling Manager - Season/Seizonen/Saison or something like that 2013
There's purple flags or purple icons in the equipment selection screen.
This means that the game isn't using the Local.cdb file that's compatible with the PCM.daily DB.
Open up the folder where Pro Cycling Manager is installed and find the folder called PCM.daily DB Backup. Inside it, there's a Local.cdb. Copy it to My Documents/Pro Cycling Manager 2013. Replace the existing file.
If you use Steam, you need to copy the Local.cdb to the Database folder of your installation - e.g. C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2013\Database
If you can't find the backup files, note that they are also attached to this thread.
All the equipment is marked as bought and has equal stats/number of stars
Again, that's intentional. Teams don't buy equipment IRL, so there's no reason for them to do so in the game.
I can't pick the lowest brands of equipment.
You can, but not in the Career Equipment Menu. In the menu before a race, everything can be picked.

You made a small mistake under the purple flag thingy: you said to copy it to My Documents/Pro Cycling Manager 2012, which should be 2013
