Team Sky (UCI team code: SKY) is a British professional cycling team that competes in the UCI World Tour. The team is based at the National Cycling Centre in Manchester, England, with a logistics base in Belgium and an operational base in Quarrata, Italy. The team is managed by British Cycling's performance director Dave Brailsford.
Team Sky's aim was "To win the Tour de France within five years" after cutting back their initial expectations from 2010's aim to "create the first British winner of the Tour de France within five years". Sky achieved their initial 2010 goal in 2012 when Bradley Wiggins won the 2012 Tour de France, becoming the first British winner in its history, while fellow Briton Chris Froome finished as the runner up.

The young British rising star, Adrien "Shindigs" Hanzen joined the Team.
Adrien was born in Austria then moved to Brunei aged 13. His family moved back to the UK when he was 17, making Adrien a very international lad. He has a good grasp of languages, even mastering the French double entendre! Adrien is heavy set and powerful. He can turn huge gears, giving him a awesome kick of speed. The power will also get him over a lot of hills. Yet to pick up all the skills for a sprint finish, if he is there watch out. |

Adrien "Shindigs" Hanzen
Name: Adrien Hanzen
Nickname: Shindigs
Age: 23
Nationality: British
Specialty: Sprinting
Hi, my name is Adrien. Today i am proud to be joining Team Sky for the forthcoming season. I was contacted by a variety of teams, and whilst some of them made tempting offers i was unable to stay away from the flagship of UK cycling.
Team Sky has really built itself into the best team in cycling, and has boasted such sprint stars as Mark Cavendish in the past. I hope to continue this trend of success during my time here.
My big goals for the first part of the season is Milan-San Remo, where i will be targeting the win. Long term i hope to become World Champion, National Champion and to win the Green Jersey at the Tour de France.
I will update about my exploits and experiences through the year. Best of luck to all my team mates, and lets go racing!
P.S. I might explain the nickname at some point...

Dammit, Sky participates in Criterium. That means you probably send at least 1 star climber there, doesn't it?

Whilst I know it's only a game and you can do what you want, that is a pretty unrealistic calendar! Oh well, makes Oman a bit easier I guess.
Oh, and Jesleyh, you can't seriously be complaining? Europcar are the second strongest team in the world now! You should be able to win every French race, even against Sky (unless the Dawg is there of course!). |

Second-strongest in the world? Nah, not really. But I get what you're saying, I just think I can't get the Top 3 goal in Crit right
If Rolland keeps his 79MO(Realname DB), of course he can. But I'm sure he won't get his 79MO

Tour de San Luis:
Bradley Wiggins
Ben Swift
Luke Rowe
David Lopez
Christian Knees
Joseph Dombrowski
Tour Down Under:
Sergio Henao
Adrien Hanzen
Bernhard Eisel
Matthew Hayman
Christopher Sutton
Jonathan Tiernan Locke
Salvatore Puccio
We bring two even balanced squads to TDU and San Luis. Any of them its balanced between GC and stagewin hopes.
In San Luis Wiggo going for the GC, maybe with some TOP5s in hilly/mountain stages and favourite for the TT. Will be assisted by Lopez, Knees and Dombrowski. I hope for a weaker sprinting competition, so the Swift-Rowe duo can make some nice stage TOP10s.
In TDU Henao going for the GC. My hope its a TOP3 for him, assisted by Tiernan-Locke and Puccio, or why not, eventually by Hanzen. Hanzen going for thes stages (maybe GC place if he can stay with the bests). He will be assisted by nice leadout train with local heroes Sutton and Hayman, plus the experienced Eisel. (Hanzen can expect the same leadout in Milan San Remo, reinforced with Boasson Hagen, Geraint Thomas and Ian Stannard. I hope he will like it ).

Shindigs
Hi,
Just got back to the Hotel after MSR. I'd call it a successful race, finishing 7th place. I was always hoping for a big sprint finish that MSR is famous for, and although it wasn't for the final victory i did quite well in the bunch dash for the line. Climbing isn't my best skill but i did use my above average abilities nicely and it has given me great confidence for some of the other races later on in the year.
Now to go hit up some of those cheap European bars and ladies!
Adrian

[img-l]https://hl2mp.tsgk.com/hlstatsimg/flags/es_states/euskadi.png[/img-l] Invitation from Euskaltel - Euskadi [img-r]https://hl2mp.tsgk.com/hlstatsimg/flags/es_states/euskadi.png[/img-r]
To the management and certain riders of Sky Procycling
In our evergoing effort to promote cycling in the "extended Basque country" meaning Euskadi, Navarre and Aquitaine the management of Euskaltel - Euskadi have decided to host a Basque race series taking place with one race in each season break.
That means that someone on your team is eligeable to take part.
Since we respect that riders are bound by their contracts we want you to have the final word in whether or not they may take part They will off course ride in their usual team kit.
The lineup will consist of as many professionals as possible as well as a talent-team from each of the three regions.
The route will vary slightly from race to race but the first edition will be held on the route used for Clásica San Sebastián.
Your eligible riders are:
David López
Xabier Zandio
To take part all you have to do is confirm your participation below or by PM.
Since you have riders from more than one region you will be allowed to split them onto two teams should you wish so.
Sincerely
Alaon Etxeberdea
Manager of Euskaltel - Euskadi
