ok, here it is. The pro tour season begins soon and well it's time to kick off those predictions.
Here's how it works in 08'
-In stage races you add up your total scores, no cheating i may check some of them. Then at the end of a week (sunday) send me your current total
-At the end of the season the person with the most points wins, simple!
-The deadline will be posted at the start of the thread
-No changing your predictions after the deadline, they will be recorded somewhere
Points Structure
1 day classics
You will guess 1st, 2nd and 3rd place
1st is worth 5 points
2nd is worth 3 points
3rd is worth 2 point
(2/3 correct but in wrong places = 1 point)
All 3 places correct 2 bonus points
Stage Races
You will predict stage winners and leaders on GC going into rest days and the jersey winners
Stage Winner correct - 2 points
Leader in GC before rest day - 5 points
Overall GC winner - 20 points
Points winner - 10 points
KOM winner - 10 points
Best young rider winner - 5 points
Any questions just ask
Now lets start on the tour down under
This tour is 6 stages long and starts on the 22nd January and runs untill 27th January, stages are 88-150km long
Stage information
https://www.tourdo...nformation
click the stage you want to know about
Ok this is a stage race
you must predict
Stage Winners
GC winner
SA Lotteries Sprint winner
King of the Mountain winner
Share the road young rider winner
no rest day points, as there isn't one
Ok, get your predictions to me by 21st January, there are 2 ways to do this via PM or by replying to this thread, either way is perfectly acceptable
Best of Luck

It's back and i'm going to give Robbie the benefit of the doubt over whether he's going to be any good this season or not
question, do we do 1-2-3 on stages of a stage race as well, or is that just classics?

no, on stage races i just want the Stage Winner and Overall Winner (and that other stuff)
i'll do a list of races i'm gonna do this year in a nifty information pack next weekend along with the rules and points.
Anyways, i'm trusting you guys this year not to count up your points wrong but i'll be checking.. just easier for me if you count them up and i do a quick check.

Basically, just stage winners, then all 4 jersey winners (GC, KOM, Point, U25) |

You can do 1st, 2nd and 3rd but you aren't getting points for it
