So the season begins! It's time for another one of these threads, isn't it?
The Australian Championships are here (and I think the New Zealand ones too).
I'm betting on Ben Day for the Time Trial. As for the road race, who knows...even Rogers is participating this year!
it might not be with a bang, but at least the real season is starting

Fuyu Li leads the Jelajah Malaysia after 3 stages. The Chinese rider of Marco Polo, formerly 'that crap chinese guy at Discovery Channel' won Stage 1. Malysian sprinter Anuar Manan (Or Manam as Cyclingnews calls him) won Stages 2 and 3. Im cheering for Dimitri Jiriakov, the Liechtenstein () rider is 5th overall @ 10 seconds.

Medina has also won a stage, which had a presumably tougher terain. Itd be odd if he somehow managed to win a bunch sprint.

Oh well, Sutherland was allways a pretty good TT-specialist in his youth at Rabo Espoirs.
And Hansen is a talent too, look at the past Vuelta for instance.
But cmon, it's Australia. Apart from Evans, Rogers, McGee and such we're not missing much here |
