Hey guys. The plan here is to do a video story similar to what edibletoast did all those years ago (2011!). I will create a team with members of PCM.Daily and hopefully it will all go to plan!
The story won't start until the Expansion Pack has been released but I want to get stuff prepared before then so I would like up to twenty-nine of you to register a cyclist. Here are the rules:
-Firstly, real names please. Or at least "fake real names" if you know what I mean. I don't want a cyclist called Amanda Hugnkiss or JRod365 (just an example, I don't think he exists!) If you provide a stupid name I won't pick you.
-All cyclists must be 18 or over, so if you are under 18, just move your year of birth to whenever you want. But it has to be before 1/1/1996.
No other limitations about your cyclist. He can be whatever nationality and type of cyclist you want.
Attributes
Let's be honest, this is what you guys care about. Nobody wants to be a 55AVG no hoper, so here are the rules:
-The maximum attribute is 74. You can have as many 74's as you can fit in based on the allotted points but it's not a good idea to be 74 in five attributes but rubbish all round. Spread the points around. (Unless, of course, you actually want a rider who sucks in everything but a couple of attributes, like a pure sprinter who can't climb at all).
-The points you will have are based on your age. You must distribute the points (but you don't have to use them all if you don't want to) across the 13 attributes. No exceptions. Here are the different point scales:
-Over 30 (Born on or before 31/12/1983) 875 points
-27-30 (Born between 1/1/1984 and 31/12/1986 860 points
-23-26 (Born between 1/1/1987 and 31/12/1989 845 points
-20-22 (Born between 1/1/1990 and 31/12/1992 825 points
-18-20 (Born between 1/1/1993 and 31/12/1995 805 points
Development
If everything goes to plan and the story makes it past January, you may want to know how your rider is going to improve. No riders will have any potential at the start of the game and your cyclist will improve as he gets results (both individually and as a team member). So, the younger your rider, the quicker he will potentially improve. The team leaders at the start, who will all be older, (if anyone that age registers!) will soon be usurped by the younger guys, if they get results.
If a rider wins a stage, he will be automatically given a point straight away to improve in whichever attribute he chooses. If he wins a race, he will be given more. It's complicated but basically, if you do well, you'll improve.
As a sidenote, I also mentioned that team results count, so if you are nothing but a bottle carrier, you will still get points if the team leader is successful. Hence, a leadout man could actually improve more than the sprinter if he does his job properly. What I'm trying to say is, you don't have to be a leader to do well!! Please don't all make stage racers with 74 MO and 74 TT. Pretty please. I'll just lose motivation straight away if you're all the same type of rider.
I think the team will have to be Pro-Conti although I might see if it's fair to put is in the Continental ranks but with thirty riders, that might be overkill!
Applications
To apply, simply fill in the form like below. This is actually the rider I will be entering. It's only fair that I can have a bash too, right?!

Any other questions, just ask. On your marks. Get set....

This is kind of like Team U25, right? Anyway, I'll join this as I didn't get to join NTTHRASH's.

There are so many things wrong with this! I expected better from an admin. Maximum attribute is 74 and your date of birth makes you 28 not 31! |

Lol. I am on my mobile, readying for a party. So you should understand, lol Clearly don't have the head for this now, will do it after I come back, although that's unlikely too. Much likier tomorrow
Good idea though, although I think keeping this up will be difficult, if you get past March results wise and still have motvation, it might turn out to be a great story.
