Somebody wants to test the new season planner?
Features:
- Filter the races by sponsor goals, classes and country.
- Riders can be grouped*
- Races can be assigned to groups of riders
- Copy and paste fitness schedules
The main problems are: You are not able to see the stage profiles and there is no fitness evaluation.
Other missing or not working features: You cannot see if a rider is happy with the races you have assigned to him / My planner doesn't show how many riders you have assigned to a race and it isn't able to accurately read the min/max needed riders for a race from the DB.
But my planner has a feature missing in the game. If you assign a rider to a race which is a sponsor goal, the race will automatically be added to his program. So theoretically you don't have to do the fitness planning in my planner because the game will do the fitness planning based on the assigned sponsor goals automatically. (Not tested in PCM 2014 and might only work on the first day(s) of the career)
This is a test version. I did some testing myself in PCM 2013 but I cannot guarantee that there aren't any problems in the game.
* You have to make groups in the game and you have to assign riders to one group (this can also be done in my planner), else you cannot use my planner.
BTW: The instructions in the planner are outdated, rather ask here if you have a question.

Thank you for testing.
What exactly do you mean, how should the fitness schedule look. Selection of the objectives like in PCM13 before the patch? |

Thank you for your description. I worked during my tests but I will check again.
BTW: Are you sure you did everything correctly and "Exported to cdb" after doing your planning? |

Another stupid question, did you do the fitness planning? Or did you assume that my planner would do it automatically? |

I think I understand now.
You can do the fitness planning in my planner. Just read the instructions on the first page to find out how.
But it makes no sense to automatically create the fitness plans. If a rider should participate in more than 3 races, somebody needs to prioritize the races.
Depending on feedback and requests I will extend the functionality of my planner, so maybe I will make it even simpler in the next version. |

Hi, I am new to PCM and am hoping the season planner will make it a bit less complex to get a season going. When I try to load a season with it though, I get the following message. Sorry, it is just me copying it as I can't paste a screen shot. Do you know what I have done wrong to get this message? I downloaded the planner, unzipped it, opened the app with PCM closed and tried to load the saved db. Thanks in advance.
An error ocurred

You have to extract the downloaded archive into a new folder including all subfolders. If you opened the archive and dragged the files out, you might have missed the empty folders. |

Got it thanks, that was fairly stupid I'm sorry. So far exactly what I hoped for, still have to work but a lot more practical. |

I am also testing it right now.
Looking at the planning in the game and in my planner I came up with some ideas.
I like the way the races are shown in the race schedule for the riders. This makes it easier to see if races overlap.
Also I would prefer it if I could do the fitness planning on the same screen so that I don't have to switch from the planner to the team and back. |

Fitness Schedules:
Click on a cyclist to see his fitness schedule. You can edit the schedule like you are used to within the game.
The fitness schedules will be saved as XML file in the folder FitnessSchedule. You have to copy them manually and select them in the game (as explained above)
There is no folder named FitnessSchedule ? |

I am not sure what you mean. The link is in the first post. But the description in the new version has not been updated yet because it is only a test version.

The group function doesn't work, I can't put the riders in groups.
Edit: You need to make groups first at the game itself.

Yes, you can only select groups which have been created in the game.
I am working on another version but at the moment I don't play the game because I am waiting for the patch. Maybe I should release another test version. |

When you add riders to a group and you scroll down or up, some riders group will reset.

You have to group your riders ingame!
Then you can use the groups in the planner |

@Otti: That has been said before and it is not related to the problem of Masterblaster01.
@Masterblaster01: Thank you for the feedback, I have noticed it also. It might be a bug of Microsoft, I have to investigate further. |
