1:1 gaps, PLEASE.

Rin
I would like to poke your dream bubble out Wink
1:1 is never going to happen with Cyanide I think.
Too boring for the masses.

Gaps, not actual 1:1 stages. Making the final kilometer 1:1 would do.

He is talking about gaps, Pelli.

1:5 mode would be absolutely great. Aaand, i would really, really love something like Become a Legend or My Career when you actually play with only 1 rider. I always imagined that , but ye, imagination...

First of all, I'm so tired of how training and attributes have worked since, well forever. I suggest they implement the same system that Football Manager uses, and I don't believe it would take that much effort since there are so few stats.

In my head it would work like this:
- If a riders has 8 in potential, his combined stat total would be for example 1500 points (FL+MO+HI etc...)
- The higher the stat, the more points it's worth (SP 70 = 1p, SP 85 = 3p)
- Fluent stat limits. Let's say Cavendish has completed his 8 potential with 1500 points, and is an 85 SP and 67 HI. You can then train him to 70 HI at the expense of 1 SP point. So he would the become 70 HI and 84 SP. This way the game will be much less monotonous, and you can to a much more extent form your riders yourself.

EDIT:
And also, you will have to implement that some stats are opposed to eachother. For example a rider can't be 85 MO and 85 SP.
You can also add different ryder types, and how their stats normally look like, so that you have different types of sprinters, fast-twitch like Cavendish and slow moving beasts like Hushovd, different types of climbers, Evans and Contador, and so on.

They're fun in pcciclismo. Of course, you can accelerate the time, so they are way shorter if you want. 1:1 scale would be awesome, but it's never going to happen.

That would be basically impossible to do.

It's either one scale or the other.

I'm not a programmer, but I think it can be done. You can slow down the simulation, but still show the race in normal speed, and that way "faking" that the last km is 1:1.

Even if possible, which I doubt, it's not practical.

So we play whole stage with one scale and then for last km the scale changes, and all tactics change, i.e. sprints and leadouts, mountain etc.

It would make no sense to me at all. Anyway, this idea is definitely out of question.

Further improvements to the AI and a bigger renovation to the manager aspect are the two main points they should focus at. ( and they will obviously focus on Armada too )

Not using different scales or as every year people say, Be a Pro mode.

As always:

1. Redo the stats system to better reflect real racing.
2. Proper interaction with riders and sponsors that actually works
3. Greater focus on Career than racing and armada combined
4. Proper multiplayer, as was promised this year
5. Give a proper benefit to having scouts and trainers
6. I would like a bigger scale. Probably 1:5 or 1:7 would work
7. While im dreaming, naked ladies would be good and a £50 note with every disc

Another thing I would like to see, now that we have a season planner where you can part the riders into groups. When you set a race as an objective for a rider, he automatically is registered as participating in the planner. And that you can set races that all riders in a group shall participate in, and have as an objective. This will save enormous amount of time, now it takes hours to plan a season.

Development teams, directly linked to teams (eg Hincapie Sportswear or Itera-Katusha)

Edit: the possibilty that you can 'buy' riders. Like Matthews went to GrenEdge etc.

I fully agree with you there, the game lacks some serious depth as of now.

I just want to add something to the points bolded. If you have different rider types and implement the "stat-point-system" (or whatever you want to call it). Different rider types can have different evolution of stat points. So that for example it will take more points from a true climber to evolve his sprinting, and more points from a pure sprinter to evolve his climbing. While riders as EBH, Sagan and other all-rounders are more versatile.

Indeed.

It's tough for Cyanide to be fair, giving example, FIFA lacks great manager aspect, while FM can get sometimes boring due to frustrating games 3D system.

Cyanide is basically trying to combine both, a great 3D part with a good manager aspect, which for so few people in the team, as well as not great budget, is tough, so kudos for taking baby steps in right direction this year.

I hope they can focus on manager on next release, graphics, AI and Armada had been priorities this year, hopefully manager aspect can take major overhaul next year.

Bigger amount of CT teams. Breaking that well-known "blockade", if that's possible somehow. Would be really great feature!

the management component need some serious work.

riders should have saner ambitions. now, they pick whichever crap proposal comes their way. nationality biases, favourite teams, ranking preference, not being willing to go down in division if you're a leader, all of that needs to be taken into account. several different proposals should be measured agains each other.

sponsors should behave more harshly. they're too lenient. there should be more and randomly generated sponsors so you would both lose and gain sponsors more easily.

diversifying finances. publicity deals, increase or add travel costs, which are too small.
