I'm not quite sure how promotion to a higher competition works. In the rules section is says that the first 20 teams in the CQ Ranking get promoted to the Continental Pro League.
When I look at the CQ Ranking there are also WT Teams. If anyone can explain how promoting works I would be grateful. |

You have to 'remove' the WT teams from that ranking, then it's right

If your team is 1st or 2nd CT team, you'll advance to World Tour, and if your Team is ranked 3rd trough 22nd CT Team in the CQ rankings you will be Continental Pro. if you rank below you'll be Continental team.
And the two worst WT teams will be put down to Conti Pro. |

Ah, much clearer now. Thanks.
Another question; What about the individual tables? The WT, PCT and the CT all have tables that list individual riders. Does the winner of the WT table get a special jersy? Is he the World Champion?
I'm not a cyclist myself, so you'll have to excuse me if I sound ignorant.

Just the leader of the Continental rankings wears a white jersey. Although the CT Rankings leader can ride for PCT team.
I believe there is no WT leaders jersey.

The World Champion is the guy that wins the World Championship at the end of September

Okay, but what's the point of having a table for WT riders then? |

That's just the general ranking of the cyclists participating in WT levels.
In real life, that's mostly important for how much a rider is worth. Winner of UCI Ranking can ask more wage.
In the game, it's mostly important to keep your team in the ProTour. |

Cio's correction is important, You can't go from Continental to WT. The 20 best Continental teams in CQ ranking become Continental Pro. The 2 best Continental Pro become WT. |

True
Also, I believe the WT ranking is important.
The 2 weakest WT teams on the WT ranking will relegate to PCT. Correct me if I'm wrong of course
But yeah, so it does matter, but just not for PCT teams.

Another question; Can I see on which mountain I am riding? I kinda want to see when I'm riding on the Mont Ventoux etc.
And is there a way to check who won the little sprint competition along the way? I'm not sure how it's called it English (in Dutch it is 'tussensprints' |

Click spacebar, then go to sprints.
You can then click on the KoM or a normal sprint 'circle thingy' along the course(in the profile) You can see the name of the mountain and the result of the sprint then

In minor races there's a chance the sprints will just be called "sprint" and mountains "mountain", but in bigger races you'll see if it's the Mont Ventoux |

I tried it today, but it didn't show the results. In fact, the only screen I could see was how many points you get for finishing. |

You have to select the intermediate sprint if you want to see the intermediate sprint results.
