There were only three Sky-riders in the first group today. Saving energy for tomorrow or just in a bad shape?

Quickstep or Garmin, hard to choose. If Tony is good to ride hard then OPQ without a doubt, but if he is in pain and struggling then Garmin.
Sky to Top 5. Saxo and Radioshack could loose a chunk of time, and Katusha (Purito) could be all adrift in the GC before the mountains... maybe... i hope not.
Wonder where the surprise will be though... maybe Orica or BMC or a major crash wipes out a favorite

Movistar tomorrow? Can't see that happening. I count 2, maybe 3 very decent and 1 very good TTist, not more than that.
Spoiler Feel free to dig up this post if they did win, I can't see this happening l

Or perhaps Katusha will be the surprise of the day. No one expected Katusha to be anywhere near Garmin-Sharp in the Team Time Trial in the 2012 Giro d'Italia as far as I remember. That stage around Verona, while contested by arguably no where near such a strong Peleton, was longer then this time trial around Nice. |
