Welcome!


Welcome to the home of the U15 GB schools cycling championships. This year is our debutant collection of events, and we'll see 12 teams all competing across a selection of events for the title of 2013 UK Champions.

Competitions


Team Overall


Their will in total be 3 styles of competition, firstly the most important for schools, the "Team Overall" Each race will award a collection of points for 1st through to 20th in the GC, and the team that finish the season with the most points will be declared victorious.

Individual Overall


Arguably more prestigious for any rider hoping to get scouted, is the Individual Overall. Scoring will be done in the same way as for the Team Overall, but each riders total will be kept on an individual basis.

Race Winners


Just like in the professional league, all races have their own individual classifications, and alongside the challenges for the season long competitions, we will also see several battles fought out during the season.

Training


As you ride races this year, you will achieve results. These results will earn your team funding, which can be used to host training camps. A training camp can be organised for between 2 and all of your riders, for between 5-10 days. The longer a camp is the more it costs, but the more likely it is to have a positive effect on your riders abilities.

When applying for a training camp you should submit a camp form:

Things to note-

The types of camp -
Climbing - Improves Mo, Hill. Acc + Res also Possible
Sprinting - Improves Fl, Sp, Acc. Acc and PRL also Possible
Classics - Improves - Cobbles, Flat. Also 2 of End, Spr, Res, Hil, Ftr.
TT - Improves - TT, PRL. May also aid Res, Mo, Hill and Flat
Distance - Improves - REC, RES, END.

Cost: £2000 Perperson PerDay

Boost: Temporary boost of 1 stat point per day away, and permanant of up to 0.5 per day. The actual amount will be produced using a random number generator, set to run within the relevant constraints, rounded to the nearest 1.

The other part of this story is that I'm looking for 12 Daily Users to take control of the teams, I will report the season, but you guys will be in charge of startlists, rider development and trying to win the Cycling Schools Cup!
