Not related to the discussion above, but as we don't have a topic yet, FDJeux have announced their line up for the upcoming Giro :
Nacer Bouhanni (FRA)
Sandy Casar (FRA)
Murillo Fischer (BRA)
Arnold Jeannesson (FRA)
Johan Le Bon (FRA)
Francis Mourey (FRA)
Laurent Pichon (FRA)
Anthony Roux (FRA)
Jussi Veikkanen (FIN)
Subs :
Dominique Rollin (CAN)
Kenny Elissonde (FRA)
I wish Elissonde would find a sport in the team. He's a promising climber. Bouhanni could grab a couple of wins there, depending on which other sprinters will be present.
I read that and decided to give it ago. I will update the thread as soon as I found more information about the starlist. |

Moreno more of a favourite than Gesink? Nah, I don't think so
I don't see Moreno as a GC favourite anyway, more of a stage-contender.
Who are the main contenders for the young riders jersey btw?
But I really can't wait until the Giro starts!

Cunego isn't taking part in the Giro, but the Tour. Also Santambrogio deserves a one star rating. Is a safe bet for top 10 even with the long time trial. |

From last year's Vuelta: https://www.cqranking.com/men/asp/gen/...ceid=22138
Notice place 5 and 6.
It's worth saying that Moreno usually only goes for GC in the Vuelta. I'm interested to see what he'll do with a captain's role.

Yeah, I know about Moreno's Vuelta, but I meant that I can't see him being a big contender for Top 5.
Edit: Major mistake, it said can instead of can't

Top Young Jersey contenders:
Rafal Majka
Fabio Aru
Carlos Betancur (?)
Kelderman and Kruijswijk //Yay for Jesleyh //
Peter Stetina
Peter Kennaugh (but he will be "riding in the train" )
Am I missing someone?

I never knew he was a climber. I thought he was more of a hilly guy?
Personally, I dont see Hesjedal repeating, but I'd love to be wrong.

2013 Tirreno Stage 4?
1 | FROOME Christopher | Sky Procycling | | | 2 | SANTAMBROGIO Mauro | Vini Fantini | | | 3 | NIBALI Vincenzo | Astana Pro Team | | |
I surely think he is capable of doing a Top 10 in this years Giro. |

I think u forgot about Vuelta last Year when Gesink was almost 1 min behind Moreno despite Moreno had to work for Purito and Gesink was Team leader and had a Team working for him |

Santambrogio for me should be starting to lose form any day now. He has been awesome ever since Tirreno, which normally means that you should be fairly tired by now.
If he does maintain the form he has had this season however, I even see him as a potential top 5 contender.

I know, read my conversation with Pellizotti above
@Juszta Steven Kruiswijk can't participate anymore, he's from '87.

I don't see Moreno finishing on podium, but so i do neither see Gesink in the Top3. |
