While creating my fantasy database for PCM2012, I developed an Excel-worksheet that generates 200 random riders that can be pasted directly into the DYN_cyclist-table of a PCM2012-database.
Thanks to the formula "RANDBETWEEN" I used, everytime you change the values on the first sheet, the generator will generate 200 new riders, while the possibility that a rider will come in twice is nearly 0.
I made the stats as realistic as possible. For example:
- a rider with 75+ climbing won't be able to get 75+ for cobbles or sprint and the other way around.
- riders with 75+ sprint will be able to get 75+ for cobbles and the other way around.
- the values SPR and ACC won't have more than 5 points difference, as well as TT and PRL.
I'd like to share this tool with this community to make it easier for you guys to create fantasy databases or add more riders to an existing database.
If you will create a new database and use my tool to generate riders, then publish it to any community, I'd appreciate it if you'd mention me and my tool in the credits.

You are able to give your own max. and min. attributes and the birth year of the youngest and oldest generated players.
Maybe in a next version I'll add the possibility to fill in the max. and min. attributes per skill.

Very nice tool!
Just some little feedback after my first experiments.
Created 3x 200 riders between 55 and 82:
- no rider had worse recuperation than 66
- no rider had worse resistance than 68
- no rider had worse endurance than 72
- the hill stats droped down to 46
- sprinters > 75 had hill-stats < 60
- cobbles > 75 equals hill-stat < 60
- loads of climbers > 77 had cobble stats > 70
- loads of climbers > 77 had sprint stats > 70, some even up to 79 in sprints and 78 mountains
but appart from these kind of "weired" stats a great tool for fantasy DBs!

How do I put these in my editor? The values jumble themselves.

It's asking for an "unprotect sheets" passkey. What is that key?

I'm working on this, but at the moment I'm quite busy with my fantasy database. Probably I'll find some time to work on the tool this weekend.
@NTTRASH and TTspecialist: That's what it's for: creating a lot of riders in little time.
You can't edit the columns, because they are generated using formulas. When I allow you to edit them, they won't be generated the next time you use the tool. If you copy and paste the columns into your DB using Excel Editor, you can edit the columns there if you like.

Make sure you activate activex (in Excel 2010 a line is shown above the workmap).
