[PCT] Wildcard Selections

So, many of you will have noted down already your plans for Wildcard categories in your transfer files.
Now you can apply for them!
You have a prioritised list of up to 16 races to fill in - noting down the race name and your suggested team. You will not be obliged to select this exact lineup if you do get accepted as a wildcard for a race.
2 spots available in each GT and Monument, 1 everywhere else.
The sooner they are in the better. Id say end of transfers is a suitable deadline. That way a decision can be made before the deadline for C1/C2 selections - giving you the opportunity to adjust your C1/C2 calendar if relevant, based on which wildcards you get.

I have a question. I have reserved money to be able to apply for a wild card, but it does not count towards the PCT-ranking right? So it's all about glory and pride then? |

Pride glory and gaining XP.
Doesnt cost any race days, so therefore it gives no ranking points. Well, it will give you some PT ranking points probably, but those are irrelevant to you!
Also be aware that race clashes do still count.

So it also does not consume riders XPs?I was not sure about that it makes complete different situation for us, lets make some picks then.
With 100k spent on stage races i can pick from all of them?
And when i made e.g. three stage-race selections, do i need to race them later, or i can skip it later with my race days selections?

Not sure what "consumre rider XPs" is meant to mean.
100k spent on stage races means you can apply for 1 stage race, or you can apply for all of them. The ultimate limit is 16 races to apply for per team.
Usually you are unlikely to get more than 2/3.
A team has never before refused a wildcard once they have received it, and doing so is unlikely to make race organisers very happy. So dont apply to races you dont want.
You are welcome to swap a wildcard with another team though - that happened last year - and if you do really want to drop out, inform me as soon as you make that decision. Wildcards are done with the intention of being as fair in allocating as possible - if you suddenly drop out then that becomes unfair to everyone else.

Classics and Monuments are 100,000 - Stage Races are 100,000 - can I combine these into a classics, monuments and stage races package for 200,000?
It's not listed specifically as an option - is that allowed? |
