Aswell as the TT and RR, I plan on doing some 'track' events too. All held in Burkina Faso's deluxe Velodrome and roads.
The National Champions will be decided for:
Namibia (Erik Hoffman is the undisputed favourite - Dan Craven is unfortunately not in PPDB)
Kenya (Chris Froome is the undisputed favourite)
Algeria (Omar di Felice is the undisputed favourite)
Mali (I added a couple of Malian riders to use my jersey)
Morocco (Abdelatif Saadoune is the undisputed favourite)
Tunisia (Rafaa Chtioui is the undisputed favourite)
South Africa (Robbie Hunter is the favourite but it wont be easy ~ He has opposition!)
Burkina Faso (With 3 Sofitex riders added to test the Faso stars already there)
Zimbabwe (Brian Kumbirai is the undisputed favourite - not something youll say very often)
Stay tuned for the TT

TT
South Africans James Lewis Perry and Robbie Hunter are the favourites. Perry is the current South Africa TT Champ and Hunter was the 2006 African TT Champion. Perry is unemployed, but Hunter is the only SouthAfrican ProTour rider.
All hope of an epic battle ended soon as Perry (72 TT), was appalling at the first check past the halfway stage, outside the top 5. He recovered for 2nd though, but Hunter is the winner!
Heres all the other New national champs:
Chris Froome actually did quite well to take Bronze medal for Kenya while Mali's Hamidou Diarra (6th) and Burkina Faso's Mahamadi Sawadogo (7th) were the only other non South-Africans in the top 10.

RR
If it comes down to a Sprint, it will be a big fight between Van Heerden and Hunter - but we all know that that wont happen! Or will it?
South Africa's Green, Mali's Sango and Burkina Fasoians Oudreajo and Compaore (Sofitex) made a 4 men break, but were caught with out the pack even chasing.
A dangerous counterrattack then jame with James Perry, Tiaan Kannemeyer, Rafaa Chtioui and Chris Froome. Erik Hoffman would also attck 40km later, but the break looked like making it.
Chtioui is the best sprinter, but he got dropped leaving Perry as the best with 56 Sprint (Kannemyer 54, Froome 52).
Froome led out with Perry (White) waiting to pounce.
Perry made his move but Froome was clinging on, Perry edged closer and closer until...
Froome wins it!!! Only just! Perry is 2nd and the new South African champ, with Kannemeyer 3rd, Hoffman 4th and Hunter taking 5th.

Moving on to the track with Event 1: Madison Time Trial.
Riders pair up and set themselves up with 1 at 3km to go and the other at 1.5km to go. Riders then attack on 99% and once they go side by side by teir partner, they stop and their partner sets off on an attack at 99%.
The best 2 in each heat progress to the final.
Heat 1:
Christoff van Heerden South Africa Juan van Heerden South Africa
Hamidou Diarra Mali Tidiani Sanogo Mali
Jérémie Ouédraogo Burkina Faso Mahamadi Sawadogo Burkina Faso
Chris Froome Kenya Eric Hoffman Namibia
Juan van Heerden had an explosive start that gave him a big gap on the other 3, passing on to his brother Christoff for an easy win. The fight for 2nd was very close, with Hoffman just edging out Sanogo and Sawodogo.
Heat 2:
Robbie Hunter South Africa James Lewis Perry South Africa
Peter Seyfert South Africa John-Lee Augustyn South Africa (Barloworld's Team)
Rafaa Chtioui Tunisia Abdelatif Saadoune Morocco
Brian Kumbirai Zimbabwe Omar di Felice Algeria
Saadoune and Seyfert pulled away from Perry and DiFelice allowing their teammates Chtioui and Augustyn a strong gap, but Hunter took over from Perry and soon left Kumbirai in a frantic pursuit of Augustyn. Chtioui took the win and Hunter passed Augustyn for the 2nd qualifying spot.
The Final
While the order of riders was random in the heats, for the final the rider with the lowest sprint stat must go first. This is the line-up:
Christoff van Heerden South Africa Juan van Heerden South Africa
Rafaa Chtioui Tunisia Abdelatif Saadoune Morocco
Chris Froome Kenya Eric Hoffman Namibia
James Lewis Perry South Africa Robbie Hunter South Africa
They were all evenly lined up:
But it soon chaged as Christoff van Heerden powered away from the rest, with Chtioui desperately clinging on.
Christoff handed over to brother Juan, who finished the job off with ease, while Saadoune took 2nd ahead of a quickly closing Hunter. Hunter was unable to close the gap that Chtioui had created over Perry, so settled for 3rd. Hoffman/Froome were a distant 4th.
1. Christoff van Heerden/Juan van Heerden
2. Rafaa Chtioui/Abdelatif Saadoune
3. James-Lewis Perry/Robbie Hunter
4. Chris Froome/Erik Hoffman
5. John-Lee Augustyn/Peter Seyfert
6. Hamidou Diarra/Tidiani Sanogo
7. Jérémie Ouédraogo/Mahamadi Sawadogo
8. Brian Kumbirai/Omar di Felice

For the Sprint, there are just 2 rider changes. Jacques Fullard in place of James-Lewis Perry and Slyvain T. Ilboudo in place of Mahamadi Sawodogo.
The riders are drawn with J. Van Heerden, Robbie Hunter, Abdelatif Saadoune and Jérémie Ouédraogo seeded. (2 Best South Africans, 2 Best Non-South Africans).
The draw was as follows:
Juan van Heerden South Africa
Brian Kumbirai Zimbabwe
Rafaa Chtioui Tunisia
Hamidou Diarra Mali
John-Lee Augustyn South Africa
Omar di Felice Algeria
Chris Froome Kenya
Abdelatif Saadoune Morocco
Jérémie Ouédraogo Burkina Faso
Slyvain T. Ilboudo Burkina Faso
Peter Seyfert South Africa
Jacques Fullard South Africa
Eric Hoffman Namibia
Christoff van Heerden South Africa
Tidiani Sanogo Mali
Robbie Hunter South Africa
It works as follows: The first rider listed will lead out for the first round, sprinting from 3km with the rival sprinting from 1.5km having followed for the other half. The order then swaps for round 2, and if Round 3 is needed, the lead out rider will be the one who won their round with the biggest gap.
Juan van Heerden, Robbie Hunter, Abdelatif Saadoune and Jacques Fullard eased through with 2-0 wins. Fullard's round 1 encounter with Seyfert was the best of the round. Fullard led out Seyfert and Seyfert moved past him with 1.5km to go, but Fullard hit back and retook the lead in a tight finish.
The other 4 matches went to round 3.
Diarra and Chtioui were closely matched in Round 1, won by Diarra but Chtioui hit back with a strong round 2, meaning the Tunisian would lead out in Round 3 and the Tunisian was the stronger. Barloworld's Augustyn bounced back from a loss in Round 1 for 2 tight victories, shocking the supposed stronger Algerian di Felice. Jérémie Ouédraogo won the battle of the Burkina Faso riders.
Quarter Final line up:
Juan van Heerden South Africa
Rafaa Chtioui Tunisia
John-Lee Augustyn South Africa
Abdelatif Saadoune Morocco
Jérémie Ouédraogo Burkina Faso
Jacques Fullard South Africa
Eric Hoffman Namibia
Robbie Hunter South Africa
The quarter finals were uneventful though as Van heerden, Saadoune, Fullard and Hunter all extended their unbeaten records with 2-0 wins.
Semis
Juan van Heerden South Africa
Abdelatif Saadoune Morocco
Jacques Fullard South Africa
Robbie Hunter South Africa
First up is Van Heerden v Saadoune. and the South African cruises through with yet another 2-0 win. Hunter and Fullard are much closer matched though as Fullard won Round 2 have been thrashed in round 1. The tense final round resulted in a very close result with Hunter sneaking it.
The final and the 3rd placed play off will come later.

Im fairly sure its the same Velodrome from PCM05 as in PCM06 as in PCM07. With the right amounts of minimalism its not a problem.

The 5th to 8th place playoff came first, with all 4 riders lining up with 3km to go and sprinting from there.
Ouédraogo and Hoffman were pretty even all the way around, but Hoffman held the edge for 5th ahead of Ouédraogo. 7th for Chtioui and 8th for Augustyn.
Jacques Fullard won the Bronze Medal playoff 2-0 to knock out Saadoune and secure a clean sweep of the medals for South Africa.
In the final, Van Heerden and Hunter each eased to 1 win each, with leading out being a huge disadvantage. To tackle this, I will instead just line them up and sprint them flat out for the deciding round.
Van Heerden was forunate for the timing of a green moment, and edged in front. The gap got a bit bigger but Hunter began clawing it back, to no avail.
Van Heerden wins!
1. J. Van Heerden
2. R. Hunter
3. J. Fullard
4. A. Saadoune
5. E. Hoffman
6. J. Ouédraogo
7. R. Chtioui
8. J-L. Augustyn

So how are these run. Is it just one team thats controlled by the player or are there multiple teams at once (i have a theory that this is multiplayer). If so, how do you make sure these doesnt interfere with the racing?
Also, how do i make PPDB accept a startlist with a single team? It always just places 20 teams in there no matter what.

Its just the one team controlled by me. I get different jerseys through the use of National champions.
I used the dot tool a lot to getthings even, and i slowed all the riders at the start so that the AI riders went ahead and finished, clearing the path for me.

As with all custom stages, you have to make a custom tour first.
