thnx Dani.
plz make sure that it's clear that the v4 is needed as a base for this add-on; last week somebody contacted me about an old and outdated version that he found in the downloadsection of this forum.

I remember someone on this forum mentioning that PPDB's next project is a 1980DB. is this accurate?
The preceding post is ISSO 9001 certified

actually happening, first 4 teams where done, then came this last 2007 project with the total new management section in between.
Since such a feature will also be usefull (very much even) for a 1980 Database, I delayed that project to have it benefit from the work that now was done for theis 2007 v6 of the Giat |

I guess the savegames with the v4 are not compatible with this Anyway the new features looks really good, and when I saw that I can scout Hungary I was out of my mind Thanks for the best database I've ever seen

Alejandro: Savedgames are never compatible to new Local and OR Databases. Logical in this Cyanide-concept where the savedgame is a stand-alone database after a career was started, and doesn't need the basic-DB for reading info.
Nothing to do about that, to benefit this new scouting feature I will have to drop my own career as well
Or, and that's what I do: start a new career next to my existing one.
The one benefit of this Cya-system is that you can switch easily between careers without having to change/swap db's manually.

How do we use Flashget to download this? I think I downloaded the file and it was corrupted. I have flashget but I don't know how to use it well.

Why don't you download it from the original site? After all, you subscribed there some time ago..

We don't link directly to PPDB's downloads. Therefore, you need to click the "Download"-link like you would normally do. You are now referred to Filefront where you can download the file.
Just do the normal procedure and don't use Flashget for this one |

With the previous PPDB-downloads, we have linked our members to the public part of PPDB's forum, so they could find the files they needed themselves. By doing that, we also made sure that they would always be able to find the latest released files (and thereby not miss the released fixes).

I downloaded from Filefront and extracted the files to PCM06 root folder. All i get now is a blindingly white screen when I start it up and then I get an error message.

Try to reinstall the game, apply the latest patch, apply PPDB V4 and then install the Final Version. |
