If the game stops again then I will stop story making unil i get PCM 12.
Hi there.
I am Ryder Hesjedal which I am sure many of you know. I was born on December 9th, 1980 (30 years old) in Canada. I am a former mountain bike rider were I won a silver medal at the 2001 U23 world championships. I turned professional with Discovery Channel in 2005 after several years with the Rabobank continental team. Last season I came 6th place in the Tour de France which I was very happy with. This year I am with Garmin-Cervelo and I am the best climber on the team. I am hoping to go to the Tour but my manager said maybe not as he still thinks I am not quite ready.

The Team
Most of you should know the Garmin team by now but if you don't then here it is.
Sponsor Objectives
Garmin
Garmin is a cycling computer company. They have been supplying the team since they started and they should be for a while longer as well.
Cervelo
Cervelo is our big sponsor that is new to the team this season after Garmin Transition merged with Cervelo Test Team. They are also hoping for a great season.
Next up is my schedule then we are onto the racing.

Australian Championships
The Start List
Stage Profile
A hilly race to decide who will wear the green and gold. Let’s take a look.
The Race
This is the group that first tried to get away. It had Hansen, Wilson, Drapac, Lancaster, Sulzberger and Meyer.
With 100km to go the leading group of 6 had 3.42 on the peloton.
Trav attacked with 36.5km to go going straight past me. I got a great shot.
He had to make up 8 minutes to get up to the leading group.
This was the image with 400m to go. It was Hansen vs. Wilson. Who will win?
The answer is Wilson of course. Matt Wilson wins the Aus Champs and gets to wear the green and gold for the rest of the year.
Results
A good race for the team in the Aus champs with 4 riders in the top 10 and the other coming 21st. Well I don’t start racing till the Strade Bianchi so Seeya then.

Strade Bianchi
The Start List
Stage Profile
A hilly race that goes off-road. I should be very good at this race because of my old mountain biking days.
The Race
Nevardauskas attacked almost instantly. The cameraman on the bike to this photo.
On the first gravel section you can see the whole team on the front surrounding me.
With 43km to go the leading group of 3 had 2.06 on the peloton, who was being lead by Lampre and Liquigas.
I attacked with 16km to go going up the very steep climb.
With 11km to go De la Fuente who was in the break is 2.22 ahead of me. We are going to have to chase really hard if we want to catch him.
With 3km to go De la Fuente was going to win so I got on Martin’s wheel ready to sprint for 2nd place.
De la Fuente does it. He wins the Strade Bianchi.
Back in my group the sprint has started. I have just started my sprint with 1km to go.
Unfortunately I couldn’t get there. Mazzanti got 2nd on the line to Nibali.
Martin managed to get 8th place and I only managed to get 19th place which is still not a bad place.

Tomorrow is the start of Paris-nice so I thought I might jump on and give you a quick preview of the race. The route suits me this year with many hill stages, a TT and a mountain stage. The route looks like this
It is over France and is a good warm up for the Giro.
Stage 1
Stage 2
Stage 3
Stage 4
Stage 5
Stage 6
Stage 7
Stage 8
The Team
Leader-Ryder Hesjedal
I am hoping top 3 here as this is an important race for my preparation for the Giro. I will have a lot of support from the team and hopefully they lead me to a win.
Sprinter-Tyler Farrar
Tyler is hoping for 2 stage wins. He has a dedicated leadout that is there to lead him out and that's it.
Climbing Helper-Daniel Martin
Daniel is here to help me. He will be my main helper of the race. If the opportunity comes up for a win for him he can go for it.
Climbing Helper-Peter Stitina
Peter is another helper of mine. He is not as good as a climber as me and Martin but when he is in form he is a force that you better not annoy.
Lead-out-Heinrich Haussler
Heinrich is the main lead-out for Tyler. Together they are usually unstoppable but I guess we will find out tomorrow.
Team Mate-Matthew Wilson
Matt has just been crowned the Australian National Champion and is eager to show of his colors. He will be helping Tyler in the sprints.
Team Mate-David Zebriskie
DZ will be here to get on the front and bring back the breakaway. He also has a good shot at winning the TT.
Team Mate-David Millar
Dav Millar will be here to get on the front and bring back the breakaway. He also has a good shot at winning the TT.
The first race will be up soon after I have finished it. Seeya then

@Pinktay3- Thanks. So do I.
@Jseadog- Thank you
Paris Nice
The Start List
Stage 1
The first stage is completely flat. Farrar is hoping for the win here.
The Race
The race was pretty boring today so we will skip to the last 50km.
No real threats in the break today which included Righi, Gardeyn, Kroon, Trussov, Koren and Lequatre. They had a maximum gap of 6.05.
With 50km to go there was suddenly 2 big threats ahead. Flecha and Cancellara had attacked. The team countered by putting Zebriskie and Millar on the front.
With 20km to go Millar was absolutely smashing himself on the front. The gap was now 1.21 ahead.
We had a good lead-out set up for Farrar. Millar in first spot, Wilson 2nd, Haussler 3rd and Farrar last. I got on his wheel to try to get a good finish.
The break was caught with 7km to go and the sprint trains got into position.
With 1km to go Farrar had just started and Davis was in the lead.
Farrar had a great sprint and only just missed out on the win. It was Bozic who took the win by less then a meter.
