Wesley Hoogenboom:
As I was in the Rabobank youth team too, it would only be logical that I would sign for Rabobank. But at first Rabobank would place me in their Continental Team. I didn't like that, so I went looking for other teams. But in the last year of my youth contract, I started winning quite much. I got a Top 5 in Tour de l'avenir, and I even won Ronde de l'Isard.
Not that I did never perform well in the years before the last year, but not in the big youth races. So after all Rabobank decided to sign me in their 'big' team, and I'm really happy about that.
I'm a stage racer, with a good mountain skill and Time Trial skill.
I cannot consider myself within the group of cyclists who is favorite to win a GT this year, but a top 20 or maybe a top 10 could be realistic, and maybe a success(Top 3/Top 5) in a smaller stage race, for example Paris-Nice. People often call me hugely talented, but I don't like to say this about myself. I hope they are right.
The last thing you should know about me is that I'm a really good friend of another Rabo-signing, Henkjan Knol. I'm really happy the team signed him too, considering he's older than the average young cyclist.

Henkjan Knol:
Hi, my name is Henkjan Knol. I'm 22 years old.
I started as a promising cyclocross cyclist. Yes, I was talented, but I couldn't keep up with the best, because my stamina just wasn't good enough. Although I trained my stamina and hills with cyclocross, I turned out to be a better roadracer. So I did some 2.2 continental races and some amateur races in my own country. I turned out to be a ''late bloomer''. After all, some teams offered me a contract. Even Sky did. But as Rabobank always was my favorite team, I couldn't resist the proposal.
So I signed a two-years contract with Rabobank. My strenghts are Time-trailing, Hills and getting in breakaways. Because I'm really good at the flat, and because I have a decent sprint, I guess I can be a good leadout too. And as my cobbles are decent too, I could maybe be useful for the upcoming World Championship. I'm really looking forward to this season, especially with my good friend Wesley(Hoogenboom)

Yeah, I did just notice that we actually have a trainee with a cobble quality who is close to yours. (And don't forget we have Boom, with still a cobble quality of about 72...

No, cobbleriders of Sweden aren't good enough, so you would have to do it mainly on your own

Timo: Shall we get the stats at each rider profile? Otherwise we have to search for them in other topic every time.

I was away for a couple of days so if someone would care to briefly update me on what happened with this game that would be nice. |

Well... Not really that much. Francopell was(is) on a holiday until Friday, and there are some extra managers(I guess there are 12 at this moment) and quite a bit extra riders, but as Rabobank already has 4 custom riders, that isn't really interesting.
I've send you a PM with the stats of all the custom riders, as you asked last week, and that's pretty much it.
Oh yeah, and signups closes Friday(so in 2 days), so I guess this game will start soon, and we have to make season goals+ schedules soon.
