Back again to end the season are the National Championships. 30 nations receive their own races:

Luxembourg
Netherlands
New Zealand
Norway
Poland
Portugal

Ukraine

Venezuela
While multi-country races will help to decide others:
Spoiler Africa (Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria, Egypt, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gabon, Kenya and Namibia)
Baltic (Latvia, Estonia, Finland)
East Asia (Indonesia, Hong Kong, China, South Korea, Malaysia, Mongolia)
Europe 1 (Austria, Hungary, Liechtenstein, San Marino, Croatia, Serbia)
Europe 2 (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Greece, Turkey, Moldova, Romania, Bulgaria)
Panamerica (Canada, Cuba, Bermuda, Mexico, Trinidad and Tobago, Costa Rica)
South America (Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil)
West Asia (Qatar, Uzbekistan, Israel, Iran)
The majority of countries see all (PT/CT/D2) riders involved from active teams. This is not the case for a few of the larger nations - where some of the D2 or 1 rider teams have had to miss out.

This is my least favourtie part of the season, I always feel like I'm missing out on the fun of having riders win random championships, while also worrying that I won't be able to buy anyone in the transfer season.
At the same time, they are my favourite races to report, because you have no clue what is going to happen. The best is when the favourite has one, weak domestique.
The Czech Championship has been the best I have raced so far, although quite a few have pleasantly surprised.

Skujins wins as well  Stundzia and Iglinski close but miss out - but thats okay. Im not keeping Stundzia, and not sure on Iglinski yet either!
The Japanese Championships thread has to be a contender for thread of the season

7th in Luxembourg in our first Nats ever isn't bad Kirsch did well enough to finishes in top half of the field at least

Anyway, one title in the bag is nice. Shame to miss out on the Estonian title (may have to chat to Felix now...)

The japanese championship was amazing too watch and a great team performance by Vesuvio in Luxembourg.

Is there a "short list" of which races are rated as flat, hilly and maybe mountain or even cobbled?
Or is every race hilly/mountainious?

France, Belgium, Netherlands, Poland and Lithuania are rated flat, as are South America and the Baltics.
Only Colombia is rated as mountainous.

But the first National Championships are up, wow to the Estonian/Finnish/Latvian 
Everyone who doesn't giggle about the japanese championships isn't human (I say that as a German!)

Actually i wanted to get rid of Rajala, but now i might even get some money for him. Hopefully this isn´t seen as some "illegal" transfer talk that gets punished.

But well, already a nice win in TT for one of my Nepo brothers.. I didn't really expect that already this season, so a really nice surprise.
And to be honest, yeah, I have to admit I had a really good laugh when I opened and read that amazing report from Japanese Championship as well.. Thread of the year candidate for sure..
