so....
First race was the australian championships, unfortunalty i miss timed my finish badly and came a very poor 10th
Michael Rodgers won
Next came Ruta De San Luis tour
i took a team of 6 riders
Ben Swift
Wilco Kelderman
Cameron Meyer
Gianluca Brambilla
Geriant Thomas
Diego Ulissi
as im british, i was going to focus my main aim on Thomas to win the GC and Swift to maybe pick up some flat stage wins |

Stage 1 goes exactly how i planned with swift nicely tucked in behind his train and a last 1km sprint to win by a few bikes lengths
Stage 2 is a similar flat stage and swift picks up yet another stage win, this time only by a tyres width with Thomas closely behind in 3rd
Stage 3 however comes our first main challenge.... 1 mountain followed by a slight hill finish, i decided to concede the stage and focus on getting thomas as close to the front as possibe. His main rival for the GC Julien Simon wins the stage with Thomas in a decent 8th losing 31 seconds
Stage 4 is a flat time trial and Thomas shows his strenghts to win the TT but more importantly pics up 51 seconds on rival Simon giving him a lead of 20 seconds going into stage 5
Stage 5 is hilly stage with a large hill summit finish and suprisingly sees ulissi power to the front in the breakaway where he stays, he then makes a final push on the last hill to the finish to finish over a minute infront of his next competitor who is Simon who fiishes over a minute infront of a poor Thomas who struggles to a 10th place finish |

by the way im a complete newbie, never made a story or used this before, its on normal difficulty so any tips/advice would be great and anymore screen shots you guys want just ask
we are currently over 4 minutes down in the team standings due to a crash in stage 5 where my 3rd rider Meyer crashed out and i'd foolishly given my other 3 riders a slow ride to preserve energy for futher races, i wont make that mistake again!! |

Stage 6
! huge mountain followed by a big decent to the finish, the mountain seperated the men frim the boys as the breakaway managed to get 11 minutes on the peleton, for the first time i could get a rider in the breakaway.
we managed to haul the breakway back in the final kilometers apart from the magnificent Chearini who finished 22 seconds infront of the next group
Thomas Sprinted to a proud 2nd place but is still 40 seconds behind Julien Simon going into the final stage |

cheers Ian
so here u can see after 6 stages we are fighting for GC but need a very very strong ride to overhall a massive 40 seconds
our team chances were gone in stage 5 with a crash that took out my 3rd rider leaving me with only 2 riders finishing strong
i think im going to sacrifice all my team to get Thomas to finish high in the individual sprints and try and win the stage with him, hes a good chance of winning the tour as both GC and points leader |
