Calling all PT and CT teams.
If you think that you missed one of your goals this season due to a crash, please send a PM to me listing the race, goal and a link to the stage report with the particular crash.

I had some crashes involving Carrara and Bosisio in non-goal races that contributed to me not getting Top 5 in the team standings. I'm guessing that's not what you had in mind though? |

Yeh, purely race goals where the team leader was affected - where it can be plausibly claimed that the crash was the only reason for missing the goal.

So i can't claim that my failure to win 10 stages is due to crashes?

*crying post*
Does f*cked up AI count too? Due to this I´ll most likely lose 2 goals (TOP5 & 15 stage wins) in one race. I don´t know how the whole procedure goes (I mean from creating start lists to reporting races), but it´s nonsence to see good domestique set as team leader, while real leaders are hidden on 5th and 6th place of list. As result AI just can´t recognize the real strenght, bringing ridiculously poor results for team. Indeed, I´m talking Tour du Faso. With Mohs, far best sprinter in field, it is really frustrated to see him suffering and not being competitive against (much) weaker opponents, day after day, stage after stage. Firstly, I´m pretty sure he has no support from his team mates through stages as others have and is out of energy much faster. Secondly, in stage 5, my team built good sprint train, but sprinter was nowhere, eventually sprinting without any help for his own! I wouldn´t be even surprised if he (and Nolf) are participating on chasing of breakaways Relating to Nolf, his chances for good overall result were almost away as well, only another "there-were-no-time-gaps!!!" bug allowed him to stay in game. However, this one may relate to using 2010 stage, right?
SN, is it possible to do some testing for me, if my thoughts are right/wrong? I´d like to see how things go with manually editing start list of my team, setting Mohs/Nolf as leaders. OR is it possible to send me all necessary stuff to make those tests for myself, please? In case I´m right, we´ll have useful hint how to avoid such kind of failure in future, i think.

No I guess fu*ked up AI doesn't count because then everybody could say the goals were fuc*ed up because of the games AI. 2 of my goals were ruined by no one really relaying and that could also happen in real life so..
The phenomenon is called "Cya logic"

AI has also always been iffy with team leaders like this too - I think it's one of the things you have to plan for when choosing teams - and even when you do, doesn't always work out the way you hope. |

that´s why I´d like to suggest to implement possibility to MG by manual correction of such mistakes like this for next season but better after some testings, I can be completely wrong...

So much moaning and ignorance.
When will people learn that the rider who is given number 1 on the startlist means DOES NOT mean that they are the leader.
The game decides who is the leader separately. Nothing to do with the startlists. PLUS, the order of the startlists in-game also has nothing to do with how they are created outside of the game
Mohs has a sprint stat. Doesnt mean he is the best sprinter. Some of his secondary stats are very poor. Usually though, having the best sprint stat means that your team does the leadouts and so you have a good chance of always being well positioned. Too bad the next best sprinter on Pokerstars only has 71 sprint then - thus Cyclevox and Puma have been in control of the leadouts.
No sprinter relays on the front of the peloton in a normal sprint stage. The team leader might however, one of the annoyance of PCM11 - especially in Grand Tours. But perhaps its no coincidence that the 3 riders doing best in the sprints in Faso are the 3 riders who are there as team leaders.
Maybe the AI is partly to blame. But so are your team selections, and its not wise to have high expectations for a rider like Mohs when there are detrimental secondary stats.
And the Tour du Faso stages are PCM11 https://pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthread....ost_424149

And btw, this year there is compensation for coming close to a goal but just missing it, aswell as the compensation indicated here for a crash ruinining your goal chance.

As I guess the person with most info on how the race has gone so far I should probably respond.
Essentially your problem is that the only stage that you created a sprint stage (Stage 1, I think) It fell back, due to not having strong enough riders leading out Mohs. Since then, he has been trying to find his way on his own, but always been badly positioned.
I think the problem is that Mohs is too far back to be your leader on the GC, so Nolf is still your leader, hence he hasn't really committed to racing for Mohs, and as such, has just sat in the pack. I suspect if Mohs had won stage 1, then Nolf would have been in the sprint chain, and Mohs would have had a much better shot of victory.
Stage 1,3 and 4 all had some hills which were taken pretty quickly, which also doesn't favour Mohs.
To summarise, Mohs hasn't had the support of Crocket and Vaitkus, and hence has often tried to form a sprint chain, then realised it's not strong enough, but by then is too out of position to compete.
I'm sorry for your bad luck, but I think this is just the problem with having a divided team.
If you want any stage files I cans end them to you, or I can run a trial myself, but I don't think it will make any difference.

I think so, but I'm not 100% sure. He is definitely not riding on the front.
The stages are here: https://www.mediaf...qfd7fw8qi2

No one gets the playable Man-Game DB unless you are a reporter to race and report the races in the forums..
Also it's now a bit ridiculous, if I was crying like this because of Ciolek last season who abandoned Vattenfall Cyclassics because of no reason. Vattenfall was a season goal.
But the thing that you mention isn't wanted here in the thread as there has to be a crash and not Mohs underperforming.
Sometimes just take it that even he has a very good sprint stat, doesn't mean that he has to win every sprint. Otherwise I could cry about Claeys who has a very good hill stat, but no "support" stats which he needs as a good puncheur like more MO, RES, Or STA etc.
Ciolek had a very bad last season and improved now, isn't that a bit realistic that a good rider could manage to f up results because of bad positioning? Greipel *cough*

Rin is right, stop hijacking this thread with complaints that have nothing to do with crashes affecting your goals...
