Our Month

Me, Iban Gonzalez is doing this months summary of how it went with us

This month went pretty good although we were'nt in any races. We were at a training camp in Madrid for a few days, and it went pretty good, we rode for about 100km everyday with normal speed, it was pretty hilly sometimes, but both of us handled it pretty well, Carlos who arent a climber was pretty tired after that training, but at the Time Trial training, he showed some huge skills and got the best time, 1'02 infront of Samuel Sanchez! Time Trial isnt my type of thing so I took a easy ride, and came 14th 5'26 behind Carlos. We talked alot to the other riders of the team and got to know them alot better, I can see it on Carlos that he's nervous on not getting his contract renewed, but I think that if he continues to deliver the results he did in the training, he won't have a problem getting one at all!

That was pretty much all that have happened the month of January, thanks for reading and we'll be back to you later!

Stage 1

Iban Gonzalez

My day was pretty much only to get waterbottles to the team and help to catch the breakaway if it got to much time. If noone of my team was there ofcourse

I saw on Kruijswijk that it was something wrong with his bike, few minutes later he was on the ground, I hope everything went good with him!

i.imgur.com/pHL7R.jpg

When it was ca. 35 km left, the pace got really high when the teams with sprinters wanted to get the time the breakaway had a little down, at the highest we rode at 60 KM/H!!! I tried my best and kept my position in the peleton!

Carlos Guevara

In the bus before the race, our manager told me that I was gonna try my best to get in a breakaway.

And I did just that! I'm so excited to be in the first breakaway of my career!!

i.imgur.com/BGw27.jpg

I tried my best to keep the gap we had to the peleton, but noone else was helping me and I was so tired that I had to stop drive, and we got catched before we knew the word of it.

i.imgur.com/Jj3uu.jpg

When I got back to the peleon my manager said on the speaker that I was going to help the sprint train to Perez as Last driver before the lead-out man Urtasun is starting the sprint.

When we had sorted out the sprint train I felt that I got so excited and was ready to do one of the best km's of my life so far!
i.imgur.com/9lNMX.jpg

This went straight to hell....
i.imgur.com/XxuLl.jpg
when I was going to do my effort... I had nothing to come with and our train went far back in the peleton and I was so sad and tired that I just gave up.. When I came to the bus our manager said that it was ok and that everyone has these days.

Firstly.. I'm not copying him, He's the one I get inspiration from
Secondly... Is it so fucking bad that I use a layout that looks like his? If you think that you can just ignore the story and both is satisfied
