Hi all,
For the last few weeks I had the idea to do a new historique database for pcm12.The year is 2000.
With this db you can play with US Postal with the great Lance Armstrong on top of the form;The Telekom Team with,Ullrich,Vinokourov,Zabel;Banesto with Zulle Jimenez and Mancebo;The Once with the combo of Jalabert and Olano;The Mapei with Bartoli,Museeuw,Tonkov,Freire and Paolo Bettini ;Mercatone with Pantani and Garzelli together..Anyway every rider sucumbed to Armstrong best tour of his life.
Many more teams includes riders like Virenque in Polti, Beloki,Casero and Moreau in Festina, the great young prologuist David Millar,etc..This db will feature :
- Size/weight for the best riders.
- Rider regions.
- Riders popularity
- National champions
- 59 Teams in three divisions.
- All Team Jerseys for the correct 2000 year
- Real teams lineup for the most important races.
- World Cup system instead of Pro Tour Rankings
- Added complete palmarès for the last 2 years
- Records updated to the year 2000
- Real TDF 2000 Race
- Faces Historiques.
Instruction to install:
1)Go to Pro Cycling Manager 2012 anc click twice.Now appear a folder call "db 2000".Click twice.
2)Copy "3D",CM Stages and Gui" and paste in the folder were you installed The game PCM12
3)Copy Database in "My Documents,Pro cycling manager 2012.Paste in Mod

Great news!
But you forgotten that you will have the exact route of the 2000 TDF as I uploaded these stages to the Stage DB.
I hope you will make this DB career-able, meaning the right expiring dates of the sponsors, the right sponsor regions and better riders-stats as you'd done last year etc.. If you need some help regarding a feedback to the stats you're very welcome to contact me.

Sali, are you sure about this? I think if you lower the stats of the other riders you will get realistic results as well. Especially the game-feeling would be better if you don't create these monster of a cyclist. Maybe you can show us a screen with the best mountain-riders, to see which ratio is between them. |

yeah some fine-tuning will sure follow up, but the direction he's going is great. Also you all do have an editor, so you can adjust them like you want. |
