Hi guys,
I'd like to start a story with my new team (and new jersey not yet made by Smoothie (it's already 5% done)) Dennik SME. It's going to be a small Continental Slovak team with guys like Peter Velits, Jan Valach, Maros Kovac, etc. But thats to the story forum. I want to ask you which database for PCM 2006 should I use?

Depends on how many races you want:
Loads - PPDB
Little less - PCM Spain
They're my suggestions

Nah, PCM Spain for PCM 06 is not that good. Instead, try going with either RSM News DB 1.4 or the German CyM Team DB. |

I don't think I want the 06 PCM Spain. I'll have a look at PPDB.

Never looked at those two, I'll have a look too.
Thanks for your suggestions.

One question about PPDB. Are the doping issues there (https://www.pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthr...ead_id=966) ?

All of these DBs look great. But I think I will decide when I have a bit more suggestions.

It all depends.. If you would like a really large DB with lots (and I really mean lots!) of races and lots of teams, choose the PPDB. If you want a medium DB where you'll be able to play 2 seasons in a reasonable amount of time, choose one of the ones I mentioned. |

I would like something with the "realness" of PPDB and with the amount of races of the RSM News DB or German Cym Team DB. Anything like that???

If youre planning to edit the database to add your team do NOT use PPDB, as editing it in any way damages the database and will mean that your game will crash at some point.

I didn't really enjoy the PPDB. It's just way, way too big for my liking.
I'd recommend the above mentioned CyM Team DB or RSM 1.4.
If I remember correctly the CyM Team DB is slightly bigger than the RSM so you might consider CyM.

I will take this into account. I now think that PPDB is big for an ordinary story. And yes I was planning to edit the DB.

I think the I'll use the Cym Team DB.
Does anything, like with the PPDB, happen when I edit it?
Thanks for your suggestions.

to be honest i have edited the PPDB a lot before and had 0 problems but also i have never gotten past April with it so the downside for me was so many races, i mean i enjoyed playing them, but it takes ages to get through the season.
If you don't want the great amount of choice (with everything) in the PPDB, then definatley go with the German Cym Team db, that's the one i used before PPDB, and it was great, and definatley no editing problems

Now I'll surely use German Cym Team DB

Hi, I'm looking for 2006 db for pcm06. I was testing ppdb for maybe a week and it's in my opinion to bugy. Has a lot of unlogic things - 30year old riders at u23 races, funny rider expirience and progression and such things. But I guess everything that big must have it's problems.
So since I'm relatively a newbe concerning pcm games could you tell me which 2006 db to use. Same criteria like odenkos but for 2006 season.
Does German team have a 2006 season db, I've tried their 2007 and it looks Ok? |

The PCM Spain 2006 DB is really good. It's available in our DL-section. |
