I'm going to start a story with the release of the v2 of the PCM daily DB, please find below the presentation of the team.
Once the db is released, I'll need to create the team itself in the editor and then you'll get a presentation of the riders. Once that's done, I'll move to the start of the season.
Don't hesitate to criticize, since that's my first time writing a story. My native language is French, and that's how I listen to cycling, so I might get some words wrong, please point them out, so that I can correct them in the future!
Forgot to mention, but thanks to tehMalone for the jersey he created upon request from RicardoPCM. I couldn't ask him for permission to use the jersey in this story since he hasn't been online for about 11 months. Hopefully it's ok, since it's one of the jerseys included in the PCM daily db.

Oh I like the sound of a 100% Belgian squad with a lot of young riders - I really look forward to seeing some of them develop.

Thanks to the team for releasing the final version of the DB!
Without further ado, here's the presentation of the riders:
Some notes on my methods: I started a career using the custom team option to check that my team was not overpriced. In this case, I was able to assemble it using the 70% option, which seems good enough. I exited the game, deleted the save, then created a modified version of the db where I inserted the team, modified the sponsor region (I removed Brazil, since AB Inbev is a Belgo-Brazilian company, but I obviously did not want Brazilian riders), changed the riders to the new team and their contracts to three years. I then started a new game with this modified DB, selecting the newly created team.
Next stop was the planning of the season as well as the creation of the fitness schedules using Lachi's season planner. Back in the editor, I hired staff: a 10 rated coach in each of the specialties plus 2 scouts (sent to Flanders and Wallonie) and 2 doctors. I did this only to avoid the signing bonuses, as I took not staff from other teams and did not touch the salary they are supposed to earn. Back in the game, I imported the schedules, set up the training for each rider and then went to sleep!
Finally, I wrote the piece above this morning and I'm now all set to start the season, so expect to see reports on the Santos Tour Down Under later today.

And here is stage 1 of the Tour Down Under:
It went about as well as planned, I'll play stage 2 now, so expect another one of those later on today.

And here is stage 2!
It did not go as planned, but all in all, an improvement for the team. And if you were pleased with Hermans, it gets better!

Your reports and lay out look very nice. But everything is in .png format. Please change to .jpg (by using a program as paint.net), just as everybody does here. thx.

I did not notice, because the pictures are cached one by one for me when I post them, but it's true it saves about 20% of the size! |

Stage 1 of the Tour Méditerranéen
Very disappointing result given how the rest of the day went, will have to do better in the future. |
