"6.4 km in the heart of Liège on the very same course where Fabian Cancellara burst onto the scene in 2004. I guess he wants to perform particularly well, even if just to get even for the bad luck which kept him out of the spring classics... Moreover, I have not forgotten he is the defending champion, having won the most recent prologue in Rotterdam (2010). In 2013, the 100th Tour will start directly with a road stage, just like last year’s, so it goes without saying that prologue specialists should do their best to seize this opportunity."
I get the feeling that this may be too technical for someone like sagan so either Martin or Cancellara should take it. I think Martin has shown the best form lately, so I'm going with him.
Too technical for Sagan? I think with his bike and accleration skills that rather favours him over a rider like Martin. Cancellara should be the favourite, though.
Yeah, this doesn't favourite Martin at all. It's Cancellara for the win, Sagan 2nd and Martin 3rd. Wiggins as 4th ( hopefully he will not get yellow on this day )
But many thing can change during a prologue, weather being key.
Saying so, the Belgians say that the prologue isn't very technical, and the route makes it more technical than actually it is in reality.

Actually looking at the course, it just looks hard because of the wide sweeping turns. There are only a few sharper turns and round-abouts for real challenges. Actually I might re-watch the 2004 prologue before then to have a look at it.
According to some people I know in Liege, it isn't as technical as you think. Wide turns, and probably not too much wind. So I don't think Sagan will win. Wiggins probably doesn't want to, so it'll be Cancellara, Martin or perhaps Zabriskie. And then I'll go for Martin.
Wiggins doesn't wan't to? I don't think so - everyone wants a stage win in the Tour de France for sure. Also, the Tour could be decided my a very little margin. I am sure that Wiggins will leave it all out there, of course without taking to many risks.Wiggins having the jersey doesn't necessarily means that Sky must blow their team up. Probably only Knees and Eisel on the first stage and someone will take over like Liquigas or Lotto...
Someone nobody has talked about for the prologue: Edvald Boasson Hagen. I think he will compete for the victory.

I think Cancellara may take his final big TT win here, before handing the #1 TTer reigns to Martin, fitting as its where he came onto the scene, and part of the reason I could see it happening.
Its too long for him to realistically win it, and theres no time bonuses in future chances. So with no chance of Yellow, Id expect him to take it easy.
