After a failed attempt to put together a team last year, the United States of America has decided that another cycling team would be an excellent idea!
Let me explain what happened, We only made it to the end of February, and our funds were running way too low, we started too early, didn't have enough money to register for future races, it was a total disaster! This time we definitely have the money and need some sponsors to create our next great United States cycling team!!
But before that happens, alot of things need to be done.
Sponsors need to be found, jerseys need to be created, and riders need to be found also!
The team is going to try to limit itself to those from USA, Mexico & Canada. However, to be successful and get a full roster, we may need to go to other countries for riders!
Database:
Version: 1.3.0.0
Difficulty: Hard
Orientation: 50%
Evolution of Attributes: 0.5
Please be sure to check back in the very coming days! as we start our mission to put a team together by the beginning of the season!

Another meeting was held yesterday at team headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA. The scheduled meeting from 2 weeks ago, and there were some huge revelations reveled!!!
Powerade has announced they will jump ship as a secondary sponsor for the upcoming 2 SEASONS!
There was another big and shocking report... M&M's, the sponsor of the last team that failed, got into contact with the team and expressed there apologies to the team. They have also agreed to a 1 YEAR CONTRACT!
There still has not been a PRIMARY SPONSOR signed just yet, but 3 companies are interested in the opening.
The jersey is said to be in the opening stages of design, as the season is approaching faster then Mr. Clark, head or operations & team manager, expected. The team staff is very excited to get some riders signed, which will hopefully start within the coming weeks.
"Amateurs are a big priority for us right now. We know that we might not be able to content this year for big wins, but the future is what we are looking at right now! We also understand that we will need 3 or 4 high paying or highly skilled riders to come in and teach the other ones, we are even negotiating with Lance still, to just be a part time rider for 1 or 2 years, and teach the others, riding with them in some situations, maybe go after a grand tour like Giro."
The next team meeting has been scheduled for a month from now (fantasy time), where a primary sponsor and final jersey design would very much be revealed if everything goes well.
"We are starting out very successful, much more than our last team". said Mr. Belko, assistant of day-to-day operations. "The last team we put a team together, it took 2 weeks and we had everything together. Thats not a very successful team. We are taking our time, and getting USA Cycling back where it should be. On Top."

TEAM MEETING 3 -- JUNE 23, 2012
The third meeting of the year was held yesterday in Pittsburgh, PA. Since the second one, just over 3 weeks ago, the goals for the meeting were to have a primary sponsor and have some riders in talks with the team.
Sadly, neither were accomplished. Mr. Belko, assistant of day-to-day operations, said that the primary sponsor is in the FINAL stages of development, and have a surprise in store for all followers and fans of the new team! "We narrowed it down to the final 2 primary sponsors. They both have different goals for us, and are totally opposite companies, however, we are going through the options and we simply won't rush anything. It cant be done, you saw what happened last time!"
Mr. Clark, manager and CEO, expressed frustration regarding the sponsors. "We have jersey shops ready to go here, and with only 2 secondary sponsors, there isn't much that can be done. Our 2 primary sponsor choices are totally different in what they do and the colors they have, so nothing can be done yet. Its frustrating, but we have to."
Another topic brought up was by the board of directors, who have yet to be mentioned in the teams young career. They have decided that rookies will come last this time, and the big guns will be signed first. Below, you can find a list that we found laying on the table! We don't have it all, but some, infact most letters are missing. Here it is:
RIDERS IN TALKS WITH THE TEAM
Spoiler 1. _ _ N _ _ . A _ _ _ _ _ O _ _
2. _ _ _ I . _ E _ _ _ _ _ I _ _ _
3. C _ _ _ _ T _ _ _ _ _ . _ O _ _ _ _
RIDERS RUMORED TO HAVE INTEREST
Spoiler 1. T _ _ _ _ . _ _ _ _ A _
2. C _ _ _ . _ E _ _ _
3. _ _ O _ _ _ . _ _ _ _ _ _ I _
RIDERS WITH ALMOST NO INTEREST
Spoiler 1. R _ _ _ _ . _ E _ _ _ _ _
2. K _ _ _ _ . _ A _ _ _ _ _
3. _ _ E _ _ _ _ _ _ . _ A _ _ _ _ _ E
That is all we could manage to find, and that was all that was said at the meeting. The next meeting is just 1 week from now! Sponsors will be finalized and hopefully jerseys will be almost done!

Good luck!! Really looking forward to this story, try to get Levi and Chris
Give a man a fish and feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and feed him for a lifetime. Teach a man to cycle and he will realize fishing is stupid and boring.

I don't mind
Anyway, he's retiring on my game at the end of this season to take up a coaching role, so not like we'll be that similar anyway
Good luck

Please no Lance. It's always unrealistic when he's in new stories. I would way rather follow a US team led by riders like Dombrowski, Phinney, Rathe, Eastman. But whatever you want.

As long as he doesn't come back for another TDF-win, I'd like to see what he can do. Maybe he'd go for another GT, Vuelta? Or maybe for something else entirely, like Ardennes, or a domestique in TDF? |

That's the thing. His only possible role should be domestique, what I hate is seeing a 41 year old Lance winning the Tour because he's been given ridiculous stats. If he has maybe 74 MO at best then I could live with it.

He, because of his Triathlons he couldn't possibly climb that will anymore, and also because he's very old
He still has a lot of stamina, though, thanks to the triathlon! |

I would be curious to see how he would do if he wanted to come back and go after LBL or the other ardennes, my bet is he can still go over the hills with everyone, and his endurance should be as good as anyone also.
