Team Colnago - CSF Bardiani Presentation
Team
Domenico Pozzovivo is our undisputed team leader here at Colnago. A world-class climber who we expect to produce terrific results, all season long. Not far behind him though, is Sacha Modolo. Our number one (and only) sprinter, we hope for more great results coming off his breakout 2011. Then there is our second-string riders, Gianluca Brambilla, Enrico Battaglin, Stefano Pirazzi and Fillipo Savini. All will be vital domestiques thorughout the year, as well as leading in some races too. With Pirazzi, Brambilla and Battaglin all under-25, they should improve well over the season also. The rest of the team are pure domestiques and young talents.
Goals
Top-10 Giro d'Italia, Top-5 Giro del Trentino, Win Coppa Placci
Top-20 Tirreno-Adriatico, Top-20 Milano San-Remo, Top-10 Strade Bianche
Win Giro dell'Apennino, Top-10 Giro di Toscana, Top-5 Italian RR Championships

A team I have to admit I know almost nothing about. Hopefully I'll learn along the way in this story! |

You have big footstrps to fill, looking at how good Tuco's story was. But I'm sure yours will be great as well. Good luck!

@sutty, valverde, fcancellara, Miguel Thank you all very much.
@baggieboys Thanks. I really love the team, and I also hope Pozzo goes well.
@Ian Butler All you need to know: POZZO
@Avin I know it was an abrupt ending but I wasn't really enjoying it. Thanks.
@cunego You don't think I've got that on my mind?! Just joking, but seriously I was thinking about stories I've loved, and his came to mind, so why not pay it homage here! Thanks..
I have updated the second post, so check it out. First stuff will be up later tonight..

Reliable sutty!
Yeah that's true I made those goals with my team in mind so I think they are pretty realistic.

I have to ask without feeling like a noob, but how do you set your own team goals and not get the ones that come within the game |

Well technically I did keep the real ones, but since they have ZERO affect on anything, I didn't worry about it and just made these for the story.
But if you want them changed in-game, you go to Lachi's or the Fast Editor and under i think STA_objectif you can change them.

G.P. Costa Degli Etruschi
The G.P. Costa Degli Etruschi is the first-race on the Italian calendar, and therefore a must-race for an Italian outfit like Colnago. Past winners here are Mario Cipollini, Jaan Kirsipuu, most recentlu Ella Viviani, and of course Allesandro Pettachi, who won the race 6 consecutive time between 2005-2010.
The course is relatively flat and definitely favours the sprinters. The first 30 kilometres are perfectly flat as the race leaves San Vincenzo and goes north along the coast to the town of Cecina. Here it swings inland and takes in two ascents of the modest 275 metre climb of the Guardistallo (the highest point of the course) after 39 and 79 kilometres. The second part of the race consists of two laps of a 25 kilometre circuit followed by five laps of a 10 circuit. Both these circuits are very flat and are based around the finishing town of Donoratico where the race finishes on the Via Aurelia to an almost inevitable pack-sprint.
We have brought Sacha Modolo to be our number one leader. He doesn't have much help train-wise, so he will have to position himself well come the final sprint.

The ride started with a few attacks from the peloton, notably riders who were listed as pre-race favourites like Simone Ponzi and Jaan Kirsipuu. A break eventually got free as the peloton started the first ascent of the Guardistallo. About 85% of the peloton survived the climbs, while a few select riders fell off the back, Most favourites were comfortably in the pack.
The pack was reeled in with about 14kms remaining on the flat, as Lampre was doing the pushing at the front for their leader Ale-Jet Pettachi. A strange attack came soon after though from Lieuwe Westra and Fabio Sabatini. They built a small gap, but were expected to be brought back in soon.
But they held off the pack! Led by a powerful ride from Westra, the pair caught the pack completely off-guard and the Dutchman beat out his break partner to take a strange win. Sacha Modolo sprinted well in the pack, and come in 6th behind Ciolek, Gavazzi and Hondo.
