One week to the Ronde.... YAY!
This one is bigger than just an "other race" surely?
Similar route to normal, all the big guys are going to be there: Boonen, Cavendish, Hagen, Freire, Hushovd, Sagan, Farrar, Cancellara, Pozatto.
Should be a good race (as usual!)

Joking, should be decent. Will be very interesting and unpredictable imo.

E3 is and has always been vastly better. The mini-rvv
Only god knows why many people think Gent Wevelgem is the bigger race lol. This just a half-assed sprinters race |

Probably because I couldn't be bothered to make one, but here I am bored on a Saturday night. So here is a thread.

Gent-Wevelgem is so overrated imo.. Still nice with some cycling though. hope Matti can do something good. |

E3 is much better indeed. But because I couldn't watch the E3 on tv (cycling trip for myself, 100km from home to my parents-in-law for a birthday), I'm looking forward to watch Gent-Wevelgem. Curious to see when Cav gets dropped definitely... 1st or 2nd Kemmel?

Probably because for those not with a huge knowledge of cycling, until this year, regardless of how good the actual racing is, G-W had a higher UCI category.
Obvious, we know that the UCI categories are not always a very good indicator of race quality *cough* Chinese races *cough* - but an outsider/newcomer to the Sport would not.

Ton Boonen agrees. He said last year that he prefers E3 to Gent Wevelgem, and then won Gent Wevelgem!
He'll be happier this year having won E3. |

With Boonen's form this year it is hard to look past him.

Anyone know why Eurosport won't show E3 and GW but will show Catalunya and its "super" broadcast quality?
And will they atleast show RvV?

I wish for a Demare win, although it'll be a very hard task. |

To hard, 2 finals is 3 days seems a bit to much.

Dunno about E3, but they are showing Criterium International today and that stage should be much better than Gent After that its Cataluyna, so no time for Gent on shedule and it seems they bought Cataluyna rights so they have to show it. They are showing RvV of course.
