8° Stage: Vasto - Blockhaus
The first high mountain stage with the difficult blockhaus and passo lanciano!
In the distance the group see the last kilometer, but the road is still much
36 on Passo Lanciano? Zomegnan is very angry...

Really like that, nice mix between TT, Sprint and hilly stages in the opening week. The only thing possibly I would suggest is increasing the length of the TT ? Or are you planning longer TT later on ? 13km seems to be on a low side imo. Anyway so far so good And now first mountain finish in week 2. Really nice

In the mean time a masterpiece of slopes with a french stage finishing on Col de Cloze. This is a very long story: Col de Cloze is the impractical continuation of luz-ardiden. I did this stage for whim and practice... the result is excellent.

for who say it is too hard: I could put the Bales, but I didn't

In the second week will be a CTT and in the third a 30-35 kilometers flat ITT. |

How the Giro 2011 the second week start with 2 easy stages, but in the second the sprint is dubious.

Look! The Col the Cloze isn't a stage of this Giro But this doesn't mean that it is too hard |

My bad Stage 10 looks nice for late attack by a GC/ Puncheur rider, bring on some mountains, lol Col the Cloze looks great as a one day race though.

Really beautiful mountain stage with the San Pellegrino in Alpe where Casagrande attacked Pantani and the inedited Monte Cimone with the last 8 kilometers dirt and very difficult slopes!
The italian NO TAV protest are also in PCM
the real dirt of Mont Cimone
