I fancy starting a new story that involves contribution from you guys. It will be a bit different from a lot of stories as I want to have a custom team that is based in a certain country or region and for all of the riders to be from that region of the world.
The region is Eastern Europe

Eastern Europe would be cool, or South America!

I'd like to see a team from Skandiavia. Lots of very interesting riders, some good young talents you could develop... My second choice would be Eastern Europe, for which the same applies, basically. Plus it would be kind of exotic.
In general I like the idea of this. Could be nice.

Wow, quick replies. Looks like Eastern Europe has taken an early lead. That's great, but it means I'll have to decide what counts as Eastern Europe. Damn. Could be controversial!
Some more examples of regions for you just incase you're struggling!:
-Asia
-Africa (difficult)
-Benelux
-Southern Europe, Mediterranean
-France
-Germany |

This sounds like a good idea, i think my top choice would be either an all french team, as they are always fun to play and watch, or alternatively eastern europe, CCC Polsat style
If you need a team jersey let me know as well, i'll happily make you a kit

I think you should stick to Iceland, Greenland, Faroe Islands and that area
Or go African

Of course I'll need a jersey, otherwise we'd have the first all naked team
The way it's looking, it may very well be an Eastern European team, so you could start thinking about jerseys with sponsors from over there but we won't know for sure until later in the week. Thank you for volunteering your services.
Eastern Europe!

Yes, there are a few Hungarian riders. |

You can't beat going African
I think I'll pass on the other suggestion due to there being no riders there hey. For now we can only dream of a World Tour team from the Faroe Islands. |

If you choose Eastern Europe, can you sign some hungarians? |

Definitely a possibility, the riders will be decided later though. |

I'd choose Eastern Europe too. There are great choice of riders to pick from, and some really talented ones. Not going name them all, but likes of Majka would make great future team. Good luck with any region you choose though

Right, I know I said I would leave it for a few days but it is pretty obvious that Eastern Europe is romping to an embarrassingly one-sided victory. So unless anybody objects (good luck with that), that is that sorted.
The next step is picking the team. This is gonna get a bit confusing but the first bit is easy. I need 8 domestiques/youngsters for the team so I want people to name ONE rider that they want in the team and put the country they're from. The first eight eligible riders will be in.
Rules:
-You can only pick one rider
-Max. AVG rating of 69
-Have to be from either; Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Poland, Belarus, Croatia, Ukraine, Hungary, Bulgaria, Moldova, Serbia or Romania
Example:
Roman Kreuziger CZE (please don't pick him, he's a bit too good) |

Alexandre Pliuschin (MOL)
Good luck for this story

Tomasz Marczynski, the ex polish champion, may claim a few victories on the hilly/mountainous stages
P.S, I'll need 1 Key sponsor, 1-3 Minor Sponsors, a clothing sponsor, a bike sponsor, and then , if you have a jersey you particularly like, name it and i'll try and incorporate some styles, and a colour scheme for the jersey

Errrm...yeah! Not too knowledgeable on companies from that part of the world. Ideally the main sponsor would be Czech with other sponsors from Poland and Slovenia. I'll PM you the details but if you have any idea of potential sponsors then I'm all ears.
Alternatively, I know there are a few Eastern Europeans on this website. If you're reading this please give me some realistic sponsors.
And Pliuschin and Marzcynski are in. WAHOO!! The team is alive. |

Majka is number 4!
For sponsors how about Skoda and Orlen? Orlen are apparently one of the biggest companies in Europe, it's based in Poland. Skoda obviously make cars. I really need some Polish, Czech, Slovakian or Slovenian help on this though. |
