Hey guys, I have entered a number of 'your riders' stories, none of which have done anything. I really want to break this "curse". Firstly a few rules,
1- Dont make your rider a mix of Gilbert, Contador and Cavendish. Pick a style eg. sprinter, hills, breakaway and build your stats around that
2- Be reasonable with your stats, no 18 year old will ever have 85 MO, if your stats are ridiculous I will ask you to change them.
3- A short bio on your rider would be nice
4- Choose a rider that your rider is like eg. Voeckler, T.Martin.
First rider

From China originally, Alex moved to Australia when he was 15 where he met a kid at his school who cycled, these two mates rode almost every day, entered races together, rode as a team, Alex would always be there for the bunch sprint and would do his bit when the terrain didn't favour him. He has now moved to Europe on his own where he has become the first signing for a fledgling team from Greece.
The Chinese version of Tom Boonen?
Question: Pro Tour or Continental in first season?
More details to come so for now get your rides in the team.

Jordan comes originally from Flevoland, the Netherlands, but moved in 1993 to the USA. His parents wanted to go back where they were born. In the USA his friends joined a cycling team and so did Jordan. Jordan did won some stage-races and now he is scouted by this new team! He is very pleased to join this squad and is ready to bring some nice results!
Well, it depends how good the squad is I guess... If the squad is pretty good, than I think you should go to the World Tour, but if the squad is like e.g. FDJ than the Continental Tour is probably better...

A late comer to the world of cycling, Mike joined an local club, rapidly earning many sprint victories and the eyes of local scouts, coming through the ranks of team sky's junior squad before making the transition into the continental tour as an out and sprinter. Perhaps not a maillot vert contender for a few years, but at just 25 years old, his talent will quickly collect him some victories.
Following in his mentors footsteps, perhaps the next Boassen-Hagen?

Born in Leiden, the Netherlands,in the provice of South Holland. Famous marathon-athlete (fake) who started cycling a year ago and showed he is even better in cycling than in running!
He did some small tours and had many successes. Now he is ready for a big adventure, and aims for a Grand Tour win!
(Sort of Andy Schleck v2.0 with improved TT and PRL stats)

Born in southern Norway, this young rider is a real fighter. He likes nothing more than to attack, but he is not afraid of working his ass of for a leader. He is not a bad climber, but he can't keep up with the best. His speciality is the flats. He is a useful leadout man in sprints, if he's not in front of the peloton trying to get away, that is.
He is often compared to both Voeckler and Cancellara. The first due to his fondness of attacking, and the latter due to his motor on the flats.

@Christer
probabaly a bit overrated? 1992 and DH 81, FTR 85, ACC 77?
I would lower that stats, or change the year to 1987,86,85 or something.
But that's up to you and cavfan8

In game, those stats aren't really changing much. Nor do they have the biggest impact. That is why I put them so high. FTR is more like an attitude rather than a defining stat, I think. I will lower ACC and DH, though.

Agreed, come on people, these stories are only fun if the riders people make are realistic, either tone down those stats, or make him much older

alright guys, that's 12 riders, I have decided to go Pro Tour in first season and move Euskatel down. 8 more riders and I will be able to begin. Team name and jersey will be revealed when the team has 20 riders. The type of riders I am looking for are 1 or 2 sprinters, cobbled leader, a 25-26 year old pure climber and some domestiques
