Quick Intro:
Difficulty: Hard
Database: Pcm Daily Db V1
With the man-game in full swing i now have a bit more time on my hands so i will be updating this story whenever i can it is an all french team sponsored by the Bike Company Look:
The Team:
The squad is moderately strong with Slyvain Chavanel as the leader for the cobbled and hilly classics we then have the young climber Pierre Rolland and stage racer Jerome Coppel who will lead in some stage races such as Paris - Nice and the Dauphine if we get wildcards there. Apart from that we've got Anthony Roux and Cyril Gautier for smaller races and Tony Gallopin for sprints if there are not many good sprinters there.
The Goals:
Some tough goals but seeing as i will only be racing in French and some belgium races for the first season the Tour de Suisse, Giro and Lombardy goals we will not be completeing hopefully we can do the others though the leaders jersey in the tour will be hard hopeuflly we can get it with Coppel, Rolland or Gautier.
Kit:
The look bike is Designed by expert Felix_29 and the kit by world class designer Laidbackmarc
We also have a special Tour de France kit(should we be invited) which is in the first post shown it is blue to represent france and will have a special bike to go with it as well.
I think that's it i will update whenever i have time.

37. J.Le Bon
38. A.Vichot
The Course:
Very easy should suit a half decent climber sprinter so Vichot, Bouhanni and Gautier will decided near the end.
A break went away early but for some reason the riders haven't realised that 20 men in a break are not going to be let away so unsurprisingly they were brought back.
Then a much more normal and obviously unsucessful break went away Yohan Gene and Romain Hardy in there the rest were all climbers.
And as i previously predicted the break was brought back without anyone really been that bothered at 15km to go so we decided to set up a sprint train(get ready for an epic fail.)
We look good as the break is about to be caught Chavanel,Ladagnous,Bouhanni,Vichot and Gautier at the back.
Then 5km to go Chavanel decides to go at light speed and nearly kill Ladagnous behind the other guys cling on.
3km to go the knackered Bouhanni tries to kick but is outgunned by Ravard who goes well
But here comes europcar's Sebastien Turgot in the background you can see are train still failing as they reach the last corner
Amorison comes from behind he is flying and will surely win you can just see our failing train in behind
Vichot now flying down the outside too late as Amorison wins..
And he looks happy:/ shame that can't be said for me as Vichot finshes in 7th but probably would have done much better had the leadout train worked.

Etoile de Bessages:
Stage 1: Samuel Dumoulin
Stage 2: Arnold Jeanneson
Stage 3: Vicente Reynès
Stage 4: Anthony Ravard
Stage 5: Samuel Dumoulin
Info: Stage 1 was the usual sprint and for Dumoulin the first win and a yellow jersey but a crash with 10km to go meant only 25 riders finshed in the first group home giving an early advantage to all my riders who were near the front. Stage 2 was a hilly stage and after the peleton was blown to bits on the last climb of the day only 40 finshed in the lead group with Jeanneson winning and our riders Cyril Gautier finshing 3rd on the stage as well. Stage 3 was the descive stage as the last 2 stages were just flat and Vicente Reynes won in a sprint of 36 riders to take the yellow jersey. This didn't stop Ravard and Dumoulin though and after Ravard won the yellow on stage 4 Dumoulin didn't lay down he came back fighting and won the race on the last stage.

Info: Well today with the uphill sprint Gautier and Chava will be given there chances if it comes back togther apart from that we will probably just sit tight.
Franck Bouyer, Manuel Ortega, Sergio Carrasco, Sven Nys, Florian Le Corre made up todays break and they had over 7 minuates with just 40km to go and were obviously going to stay to front.
Saur and Verandas were on the front but hardly trying to bring the break back.
So when Kevin Ista attack Arthur Vichot went with him we hoped this would spark the peleton into life and it did.
They never let them out of there sight and the breakaways gap was down to 2"00 with 5km to go
But with them brought back Mathieu Ladagnous went on the attack trying to steal some seconds.
Meanwhile up front the mass dash to the line was happening with the riders filling the road.
ITS Tight on the line!
But frenchman Franck Bouyer wins in his home nation Andalucia do well by getting 2 riders up there.
The dash is on in behind
Though on Look seem bothered about it they take some high placings 1"12 back from the breakaway.

Info: Today were going to take it easy and hope Cyril can get a top 10 in the sprint.
Johan Le Bon was the rider we put in the break today
But with 10km to go they were already getting brought back
so we lined up Gautier for the sprint
He got on Eric Baumann's wheel and it seemed like the right place to be hopefully he could top 5
The sprint starts properly still going well he could be making a top 5 now
He's making ground he could get some seconds
He's coming round him he's going to win!!!
Gautier takes it impressive sprint by the frenchman and he takes valuable seconds back in the race for yellow

Info: Same as yesterday and hopefully we will get the same results so it will be hope Cyril can get a top 10 in the sprint.
Topsport took the lead after the breakaway was caught they obviously thought that they could bring Michael Van Staeyen for the win but there were being challenged by FDJ
And FDJ was coming off better geslin was in the perfect posistion while Gautier was miles back and in with no chance of a win today
So Geslin stormed to the win and with hilly stages coming up Gautier's 7th is another sign he is in good form tommorow we are going to push the pace really high and try to get rid of other contenders.

Info: Today we hope to break the pack up on the first few climbs and then hopefully Gautier or Chavanel will win on the final climb.
Like we said from the first hill we went up we tried to destory the opposition with a high pace up the first 2 climbs which worked in getting rid of some lesser climbers
Then we made an even higher pace on the next climb and managed to get rid of Impey and Offerdo and they wouldn't be seen till we passed the finishing line.
Frank Bouyer we persistent though he refused to go off the back of the group.
The peleton then flew to the final climb of the day when Scheirlinckx attack and got a gap.
Chavanel was going to try and make it across the gap.
He's coming the latic acid is starting to hit Scheirlinckx he's hitting the brick wall.
Chavanel flies past he's going to do it!
Chavanel wins the rest of the group is just behind with Scheirlinckx 2nd , Hivert 3rd with Gautier just missing out on the bonus seconds.
Bouyer though is still coming with the peleton Mount Faron remains hopefully we can get the time back then

Info: Here we are the queen stage of the tour we hope to get Chava or Cyril to win the race and for that we need Bouyer to be dropped it's going to be tough but hopefully we can do it.
No action untill Faron apart from a 3 man break getting caught and as they hit the Mount Thomas Voeckler was doing the work for the 130 man peleton.
But already there was trouble Franck Bouyer was feeling the effects of his efforts and was slowly going backwards but still hanging on to the back of the group
Chavanel sensed a chance and he rode super hard up the first couple of bends only 7 are left in the group they are
Chavanel
Gautier
Kern
Voeckler
Caser
Scheirlinckx
Verheyen
But more drama Voeckler, Kern and Verheyen sit up and wait for Bouyer and Nys this leaves just 4 riders left in the first group.
Make that three Casar has gone pop he is off the back just the 3 remain Gautier looks in trouble but Scheirlinckx is still looking very good
Didi is on Faron and the gap is already
E1 => Casar "35
E1 => Bouyer "1"56
Gautier is really sturggling he's going to get dropped the pace is increasing and Scheirlinckx is somehow still there
Chavanel has had enough he burst up with instant accelaration Scheirlinckx doesn't respond and prefers to ride his own pace.
Chavanel is flying the gap to Bouyer is already "3"45
Scheirlinckx is "28 down
and Casar and bunch "1"28
Chavanel powers to victory, And he takes it and the Tour this is a great result for the classics man is he going to keep this up till the classics.
He celebrates across the line
Scheirlinckx brillant in 2nd and Gautier 3rd
Bouyer crosses the line tired and "7"17 down

Info: Same as yesterday and hopefully we will get the same results so it will be hope Cyril can get a top 10 in the sprint.
We looked good with 5km to go with Pinot on the front tracked by Vichot and Gautier but netapp were coming up on the outside and Voeckler had Gautier's wheel
Netapp then took it up under the 1km to go banner and onto the rising ground gautier still had a chance at a top 10.
Impey is powering away though with voeckler chasing and this looks to be impey's for the taking Mondroy and Milan both going well just in behind with Gautier going backwards in behind.
Impey takes it and the leaders jersey no gaps in the top 135 so tommrows hilly stage will decided the race.

Info: Today is the queen stage of the Haut Var and we will try and get Gautier up there in the final but it will be hard with voeckler there.
The breakaway today included some big names like Yaroslav Popovych
they had 3"53 with 100 km to go
In behind though the pace was already high with Thibaut Pinot destroying the group meaning only 34 riders were in the peleton over the top
The vierw from the back as many riders were going out the back door.
With the riders caught with 25 km to go the final climb came up 4km @5.8% with 17 km to go and Pinot was setting a brutal pace
Many riders were going of the back including our own Jerome Coppel while Impey was still manging to stay in there.
Voeckler sensed this and attacked hard he really went for it with Hivert trying to stay on his wheel.
Impey refused to let them go though and with 5km to go it was all back together and ready for a sprint to the line.
Ladagnous went early on this side and
Kern lead out -> Impey -> Voeckler -> Gautier.
Voeckler storms around impey first and he wins the tour du haut var but gautier is still in his wheel can Cyril do it?
Cyril is sitting there but he is struggling to come round Impey is hanging on to 3rd but that is no good for him if voeckler is victourious.
Gautier can't come round it's going to be voeckler
And voeckler does win Gautier did well for 2nd and takes the young riders jersey for his efforts as 16 riders finshed in the first group with Thomas Voeckler winning.

Overview:
Early on in the season it's nice to see were making a gap to the other teams in the rankings this may prove vital late in the season adn with 2 of our goals already completed we have had contact with other sponsors for some space on the shirt so watch this space. Kenny Elissonde has also improved a bit and he will be very helpful in the higher mountains now.
Paris - Nice next our team will be lead by Jerome Coppel with Cyril Gautier and Mathieu Ladagnous there for support.
